New Patriots DT has emotional support dogs

Victories were hard to come by during Danny Sheltons three seasons in Cleveland. Postgame smiles, however, were a guarantee.

No matter how rough things got for Shelton and the Browns and 4-44 is pretty rough the big defensive tackle knew that when he got home, his dogs would be ready to smooth over the rough edges and hard feelings.

...

Well, actually, theyre emotional support animals, so I had them trained, said Shelton, who was acquired by the Patriots via trade last week. For me, its just that warm feeling I get coming home and seeing their smiling faces.

Whenever Im in a vulnerable position or Im feeling stressed out, Moni especially, shes the one that will come over and shell notice it and shell cuddle up or shell do something funny to get me distracted. Its just crazy how they know me so well, and they also know my wife so well. They help my wife out as well.

Dont think this ones gonna work out.

I don't want to disappoint anybody, but that's pretty much what dogs do. They don't need special training for that.

For that matter, about 98% of all dogs are emotional support animals. Because, they're dogs. And dogs Rock.

Yes, and if itd been a story about what a dog lover he is thatd be cool.

You prefer he has an emotional support peacock?

I don't care what he does. I preferred it when these freaks were cokeheads.

I wish they actually had prison league football. Have two teams of inmates play each other, winner gets a weekend in the hookers and mountains of drugs palace. Loser gets a week in the hole.

Now that would be some football.

Yep. Anyone who tags their pet with that label is a humongous, gaping pussay.
