The Jets are an emotional football team and they played angry vs. the Colts and Pats because it was personal...but against the Steelers? Meh, it doesn't even compare. The Jets won't have the same intensity for this one and it's going to kill them. Meanwhile, Pittsburgh will play hard(er) because they know they dodged a bullet vs. the Ravens. This should be a convincing win for the Steelers.

I took Brees in the 1st round of a 12-teamer and just won a championship.

Tom Brady is an insane perfectionist; he reminds me of Jerry Rice, in terms of his preparation. Rex Ryan knows that. This is just more trash talk for the sake of trash talk and it's getting old. I want the (overrated) Jets to lose as soon as possible, but nothing would be sweeter than watching the Patriots whoop their asses one more time. Sadly, that likely won't happen, as Manning is probably going to carve them up something good.

I just went back-to-back, after drafting 11th out of 12th for the second consecutive year. Arguably the worst draft spot in 12 team leagues, I've managed to win 3 titles overall from that slot (my other title came a few years earlier, also drafting from the 11 spot).

It says the same about any player in fantasy football, that nothing is ever guaranteed, but you yourself point out that you had a "Top 3" kicker...and I'm sure you kept him for a reason. As you said in the rest of your post, he averaged 10 points per game - did all other kickers? No. As you said, you wound up in the championship round...bet your kicker at 10 points a week had something to do with that. So he had a bad week when you needed it the least...welcome to fantasy football. It could, and does, happen to any position.

I'm up just over 9 points and he's got the Eagles DST...a championship is on the line!

The Bears defense will eat this kid alive, especially after getting embarrassed last week.
-
So glad I have the Bears D in this one. Joe Webb is no Tom Brady.
-
LMAO, I almost spit out my coffee!

Call it maturity, call it focus, call it growth? Vick was never a great pocket passer or very accurate, but he seems to have developed the mental side of his game which is helping him throw the football like never before. We always knew he could run the ball, but his evolution into a complete package is something I don't think anyone saw coming. I'm still rather skeptical it's not a flash in the pan, but he'll make a believer out of me if he keeps it up the rest of this season and next.

NFL Network interviewed a surgeon familiar with the procedure. Doc' said Cassel is fine to play, medically, since all the work is done inside and there's nothing to damage. The issue is pain, discomfort, how the outside is feeling...so I understand why the Chiefs held out hope. But Cassel is hardly a tough guy so he'll probably sit this one out.

Remember that was in heavy rain, under sloppy conditions, during a week which is still like preseason for most teams.

Agreed.

Anyone stubbornly still starting R.Moss?

Randy who? -
I like Watson this week. Delhomme is a checkdown machine and Watson has come alive the past two games as a result. I'm not looking for gold, that's impossible on my WW; I just want someone who might get me 3+ points and not a doughnut.
