    AJ Dillon droppable?

He was running hard last week and gets the Lions this week. Might be flex worthy and worth the hold for at least another week for those who still roster him.

    Week 8 waiver

If you need a TE this week (Kelce owners) then I think Harrison Bryant is a great add. Both CLE TE's hurt and they get the Bengals this week so they'll have to keep up. Jacoby loves to throw to the TE.

    Cam Akers OUT

This doesn't sound like a one week get your mind right thing with Akers. This is starting to sound like his days as a Ram are numbered.

The "Fantasy Experts" Were Wrong Again

I don't have any of these players rostered so this isn't a sour grapes post. Just merely pointing out that even the people who get paid to do this for a living aren't that much different in terms of expertise compared to the members of this board who do this as a hobby and for fun. I don't typically follow the FF experts out there (although I do enjoy listening to the Fantasy Footballers because their show is fun) but I had a crazy work month in August and fell really behind in my normal prep. I scoured through some podcasts and through Twitter to see what I missed and came across most of these takes. I was just thinking about it yesterday and the average fantasy player may have been better auto drafting versus listening to the experts. Now some takes that were right that I can recall would be Saquon Barkley being a stud (although he was still going at the top of the second round in most drafts so not exactly a bold call) and Lamar Jackson being a top QB (again he was being drafted right after Allen and Mahomes so not exactly a bold call). I can't recall any major sleepers being touted that weren't already widely known about (Dameon Pierce, Chris Olave and Drake London). I would say one name that most experts got right that has provided a great ROI thus far was Christian Kirk but that's really the only name I can personally think of...

The "Fantasy Experts" Were Wrong Again

Some of the hot takes being thrown out by the so-called FF experts on Twitter, YouTube, podcasts, etc. I heard most of these repeated by multiple "experts." - Chase Edmonds a must draft with McDaniel bringing the SF run scheme and the money they paid him in the off season. - Allen Robinson is a must draft getting the OBJ role and the best QB he's ever played with. - Russell Wilson getting an upgrade in WR talent and playing in high scoring games all year. - Kyle Pitts 2nd year breakout to the moon. - Michael Pittman will be an elite WR with the Matt Ryan QB upgrade - Travis ETNSZN - Josh Jacobs will be a complete bust and in a NE Patriots like timeshare. DND! I'm sure there were more but these were the hot takes I remember most from the FF community in August. Just a reminder that these fantasy experts don't really know any more than any of us.

    Giants WR's

Wan'Dale Robinson looks set to finally make his debut on Sunday and the Giants are rivaling the Bears for the worst WR group in the league. Interested in seeing his usage first game back.

    Giants WR's

If i'm taking my chance on anyone then it's Wan'Dale Robinson. He was handpicked by the new staff and will slide into the Sterling Shepard (Cole Beasely in Buffalo) role once he's back healthy. I just wish we knew more about what his status is exactly.

    Drake London

So anyone starting the young gun this week against the Rams? With some questionable WR's this week (Bucs WR's, Pittman, Tee Higgins, etc) I'll probably be playing him. Shot Caller's Report has him as a start this week. The Rams will be angry from the Bills beat down and who knows if Ramsay lines up against London or Pitts but I'm hoping for some garbage time production and a TD.

    Drake London

Does anyone who watched the game have any thoughts? Stats (caught 5 of 7 for 74 yards) were decent considering the tough matchup and it was his first NFL game after missing so much time. Not sure who was covering him since I'm sure the Saints were locked in on shutting down Pitts (who he matched target wise).

    Hurts owners..

The #1 thing you must do right now is add Gardner Minshew so you have a pivot option on Tuesday night. With that said, I'm strongly debating if I should roll with Hurts and his low floor but very high ceiling or play it safe with steady Tua against the NYJ. I'm worried with the ankle and the opponent that Hurts will not run as much and they might just run it with their RB's all night long.

    2nd half breakout

I'll say Sony Michel. Henderson keeps getting "slightly dinged" every week and I think we're going to reach a point soon where he's forced to miss time.

Instant Fantasy Analysis - Rondale Moore, Cardinals

What I love the most about Rondale Moore's situation is the team is manufacturing touches for him (screens, carries, etc). His touch count compared to his snap percentage is impressive. I think he offers a very safe floor with a ton of upside to blow up any given week in this pass happy, high scoring, fast paced offense. I could see him having a similar year to Tyreek Hill's rookie season. Something around 700-800 receiving yards with 6 TD's and another 150-200 rushing yards with a rushing TD isn't out of the question.

Antonio Gibson-Talk me off the ledge

I think the main thing to worry about with Gibson is the TD regression from last year. There was no way I could see him matching the 11 scores he put up last year. Also, he got a lot of hype this off season that he would be the CMC in DC but everyone just seemed to forget about McKissic who put up WR level numbers and also bulked up in the off season to handle more of a running back workload. McKissic had 80 receptions on 110 targets last season! Sure that was with a rotating door of QB's who would check down but anyone who thought he would completely go away was being very naive. So with the TD's coming back down to earth and being a non factor on third downs, it's hard to see him living up to his ADP. I don't think he's a bust or anything but I personally had Najee Harris ahead of him in my pre draft rankings because of the volume concerns.

    Team defenses

I'm debating the Packers vs Saints (in Florida and not the dome) and the Panthers home vs the Jets and a rookie QB making his first start. I'm leaning Carolina but the Packers do get Detroit in Week 2 which is a nice little bonus.

Instant Fantasy Analysis - WR Josh Palmer, Chargers

OK I'll admit it. While I like Palmer I didn't pay much attention to him because I felt if there was any WR to own, outside of Keenan of course, it was Mike Williams. However, Williams is hurt again and that's been the story of his career and playing style in the NFL. I'm going to pivot off Big Mike and just take a dart throw on Palmer late.
