Took the boy to Chuck e Cheese today

Recommended Posts

What a focking amazing time. It's been so long since I was in there. It was fun and there were aot of great games for kids. I was impressed. Sometimes things just don't transfer from your youth. You remember it being cool but when you look at it now you wonder why. Not so much here.

My daughter loved that place when she was a kid. We only took her a couple times but she was always in awe.

The funny thing about the Chuck E Cheese around here (Saginaw) is there always seems to be shootings there. Weird, but it happens often.

yes the one in Lansing is not that great either. Let's just say I felt very at home with both the patrons and staff in the a2 location Very at home.

How much Purell did you go through?

. I carry that on a keychain. My son is 100 percent boy. One min touching a dead animal the next catching a frog.

The next catching syphilis from the ball pit

I think you and I have a different definition of "ball pit."

Chuck E. Cheese varies by the location. When Orlando was quaint in 70's/80's, the local Chucky was awesome. Today, it's the ghetto. My 7 yo thinks there isn't one here (lie to protect). The one in small town Alabama is cool.

They all serve the worst pizza ever created. It's worse than Hungry Howie's or Little Ceasers which is really saying something.

I used to work there a million years ago. Here's a fun fact; I had more sex in the changing room than I had all during college. I still get a Pudge whenever I smell sweat and Lysol.

Worst place on earth.

I'd pay a million bucks if I could be guaranteed my sons would never again be invited to a party there.

I guess it does vary by location. The one in Ann arbor was excellent. Workers were cute and peppy. All the games worked. Spent almost 2 hours on a 10 buck game pass.

Was ok when the kids were smaller. Now...awful. Dave and Busters. Sure it will cost a lot more. But better games and a full bar and TVs everywhere.

Yep. My son works at D&B's, much better place when the kids hit 8 or so. Plus like you said, bar + sports on TV + decent bar food.

There is a place in my hometown that is like a three story kids entertainment thing. They have laser tag, go carts, zip lines, rope course, etc.

Last time I was home, my mom suggested we take the kids there. We walked right in, turned around and walked right out. Holy sh!t that was a rough crowd. There was actually a gang fight, complete with shootings, a week or so later.

Focking sad. Can't have anything nice in America anymore.

There was always that bratty little f***** who is pulling my tail or punching me. I always had the best strategy for those little bastards. All I would have to do is hold his hand. Of course, I was crushing the s*** out of his little hand. But, all Mom saw was the goofy grin on the mask and me holding the kids hand and the little kid getting more and more miserable and starting to cry. Oh he's shy! Isn't that cute! I would hold my fake head in my fake pause as if I was frustrated and embarrassed and Pat his little head and then walk away so he wouldn't be scared anymore. Mom thought I was absolute best and the little f***** never came within 20 yards of me after that.

Good times.

The one in Cherry Hill NJ is fine. My son far prefers the climbing stuff to the video games so at least on a rainy day it's a place to get him a little exercise and kill an hour.

The one in South Philly is a zoo and I won't expose my son to those mutants.

mechanical bull?

that would be great. No. The giraffe head moves slightly but nothing thats worth the token. Easily the worst ride or game there.

They did gave a huge galaga machine. I mean like 10 ft tall the guys dropping down on you were like 3 inches tall.
