god bless the cap....but last in the nfl? dont they tourture their fans enough with baseball? no wonder the nhl is staying away...

No one mention Baltimore, Indy and NE. Competitive,, in the playoff hunt and the second lowest payroll. That is impressive.

This is a payroll listing (actual dollars spent) not a salary cap listing. The minimum and maximum numbers apply to the salary cap numbers. Oakland is so high because they signed a lot of non-productive people this year who had outreagous signing bonuses. The total dollars of the signing bonus counts as payroll but only a pro rated amount counts toward the salary cap
