**2015 NBA Playoffs**

My Mavs are in again. But I've no illusions, we have no shot. Prolly get out flopped by Hardin and beat in the 1st round - he's such a douche.

Finals: Spurs v. Cavs / Spurs win title in 6.

I normally don't care or watch basketball anymore. I might check out the finals and watch a few games. But I am going to watch the Pelicans. They've beaten the Spurs three out four games this year, including last nights win against them to secure a playoff spot. Anthony Davis is fun to watch play. I'd like to see them get out of the first round but that's not going to happen.

I think I might have watched about 15 minutes total of NBA games this year... Just doesn't interest me any more...

My Hornets took a step back this year and missed the playoffs. To many injuries and to little Lance Stephenson. Wow does he suck.

Therefore I'll be rooting for Golden State in the West because they are fun to watch and Steph Curry is from Charlotte and Harrison Barnes is a UNC guy. Plus I'm tired of the Spurs and don't like Harden and the Rockets.

In East, I'll be rooting for LeBron and the Cavs. Cleveland deserves it and well, Lebron is fun to watch.

I really have no idea who is coming out of the West, it truely is the Wild Wild West. I think the Cavs have really come together the second half of the year and are the front runners to represent the East.

I think the Cavs win that series in 6 or 7. I don't think there's a team in the NBA that can beat them in a seven game series if Lebron is healthy.

Agreed. Ever since they got Mosgov, JR Smith and Shumpart they have really turned it on. Sured up the Defense and are just a killer shooting team. Kyrie, Lebron, Smith, and Love all shoot 3's well. Devestatingly good on offense.

I know, he is such a terrible person. Always gets arrested, beats on his wife and kids, never gives back to the community, his teammates hate him because he is a bad teammate, and he is just a selfish player, an outright ball hog.

Oh, wait....he's actually the opposite of all that.

One of the radio guys here said it something like this: anyone driving to the basket, if they get by their man, is going to find a seven footer with bad intentions at the rim. Teams will have to rely on their outside shooting, and that won't fly over a whole series.

Admittedly I don't watch much of the East - but the Spurs are simply amazing. If ever a team was capable of flipping the switch, they are it. Between the defense they play, the way they pass the ball and the way they shoot it from the outside - I just don't see anyone beating them... Will def be fun to watch - they have no easy road to even get to the finals, the West is brutal.

LeBron is an ass... If he really was a good teammate, he wouldn't have left Cleveland to get his title and then only go back to Cleveland if they loaded the roster up so he wouldn't fail...

Lebron is a good dude. I don't dislike him in the sense that I dislike, Tiger Woods for example. Lebron certainly doesn't disrespect the game that has given him so much and act like it owes him more than he owes it.

My issue with Lebron has never been with him as a person. My issue was more with the trio of Lebron/Wade/Bosh and the entire fact they decided where to go during free agency and basically built their own team, got cocky, guaranteed more rings than they came close to delivering on and sort of got away from what made/makes basketball great.... superstars wanting to beat other superstars. Not team up just to get your ring. And I had an issue with "the decision" and the heat intro party. Regardless of where Lebron donated the proceeds, he could have donated money anyway and just made a quiet decision without spectacle and he is a smart enough guy that im not going to blame ESPN and his advisers.

I also think it was a lame move going back to Cleveland. It reeked of the realization that D Wade became a 60 year old man over night and that all of their salaries didn't allow a good enough supporting cast to beat a team like the Spurs where their super stars take pay cuts to win. He realized Cleveland now had Kyrie Irving, had at the very least drafted Wiggins and probably expected the Love deal to get done and had better role players (tristan thompson, varejao (sp) than he ever had. Hell the role players were probably better than any starters he had alongside him during his first go around. Thompson is very underrated.

Its a nice, sappy story that he returned home but would he really have returned home if Wade was still Wade and he was confident they could fill out the roster in miami to decidedly beat the Spurs?

I'm beyond excited. I will likely watch every game in the West, although I could pass on Portland and Memphis I suppose.

I am enjoying the narrative in which people discuss if CP is overrated due to the fact he has never gotten to the conference finals, and now he gets the bad luck of being on a top 5 team, yet drawing a team clearly better than his in round 1.

As for our Mavs...perfect first round matchup. I think Kevin Mchale is such a horrible coach, and Carlisle being the second best coach in the NBA..it equals Dallas beating Houston. We got this.....but then the Spurs will likely roll up on us.

Golden State vs the Spurs for the title. Then the winner will throw a parade and whatnot, before taking a victory lap against the Cavs.

That is why he is an ass and no if Miami still had the ability to be champions, he would have stayed down there...

I really don't think the Cavs are ready for an extended playoff run. They still have figured out how to play Love, or Love hasn't figured out how to play within the offense. Obviously they have played really well the past couple of months, but I think they are still a year or two from winning a title.

I guess the problem is, who else is there in the East? I have had the Bulls coming out of the East since day 1, but they really need Rose playing good basketball. I actually thought they were better off without him when he went down. They could just run the offense through Butler, but obviously if Rose is playing good basketball they are a better team.

The West is a glorious clusterfock. It's amazing. I really think the Pelicans can beat all but 3 teams from the East in a series. I think a lot of people don't appreciate the season Golden State had. It was historically good. 67 wins in maybe the deepest conference ever. The best offense and the best defense statistically. If they go on to win the title, they should be considered one of the best teams ever.

So I guess I'm saying Bulls vs. Golden State in the finals, and Golden State winning in 5.
