And I know it's cool and trendy to say that it's awesome and you should see it but it really is. I hate long movies and that was the one thing I was worried about going into watching it. I didn't want it to end, 1 and 2 could have both been 8 hours long and it wouldn't have mattered. Just focking masterpieces.

Very good movie. I just didnt get how Michael's original wife dies, and then there is no mention of it or her at all the rest of the movie.

Saw it for the first time maybe 10 years ago. Not sure what the hold up was. Its a great film: great characters and shifting motivations, terrific acting, gorgeously shot, excellent soundtrack. The Godfather looks bed up to all the accolades. I prefer the first but the sequel is excellent too.

FWIW that version also has deleted scenes added back in,for instance we get to see Hyman Roth as a young man when he first meets Vito Corleone.I actually own a VHS collection of Epic but it was never released on DVD.

As I recall Sophia Coppola was the baby used when Michael became Godfather to Connie's kid(end of part 1),she later went on to play Michael's daughter in part 3.
