Calvin Ridley?

Recommended Posts

A strong week 2 followed by a gigantic week 3.

Is it a fluke or is he the real deal?

I have him in a dynasty league and he's earned a place in the starting line up that will be tough for him to lose for a few weeks at least

I watched his week 3 highlights and liked what I saw. It's hard to articulate...maybe it was the slight burst to catch up to the ball that he showed on his first two TDs but I like the "presence" he shows on the field.

i'll try for him but I'm too far back in the WW order.

he looks good and i have a #1 WW priority that i am tempted to burn.

however i'm pretty good at WR and was waiting for that RB injury to happen (that might never come)

Keep in mind he did just face the worst starting corner in the league this year in Ken Crawley. I'm not saying he's not good, but if you look at what Crawley has given up this year it's outrageous.

I drafted Ridley heavy in several dynasty leagues w taxi squads.

Thinking he will get promoted sooner than later. Whoever said 2nd coming of Roddy was right. The kids route running chops are legit. I just thought it would take him another year to put it together.

I agree with polecatt that this is good to know, but this highlights an advantage that Ridley will have - a defense's best corner will probably be assigned to Julio.

Yep, as well as safety help

Lots of 1 on 1 looks

Looks like Ryan trust him, that’s a big deal.

I think he will be a wr2 in a lot of weeks coming up.

Plus just wait for deva Jones to have his little issues.

I told people he was the new Roddy. However this was after his breakout. He was actually drafted rnd 10 in my league. Im asking the guy real talk what made him be on his radar that high.

Thru first four games... Ridley 6TDs vs Julio 0TD

Julio with more significantly more targets, and receptions.

Explain.

Wish I could. The targets are there for Julio and he's a yardage beast - still no TDs.

Its gotta be that teams are selling out to stop Julio and leaving the rook open no?

Last season he had one td in his first ten games.

Seems normal.

Ridley is simply better then Sanu, so he’s able to make playes Sanu couldn’t t.
