    Michael Carter

I squeaked in the #6 slot and am starting him this week. I could potentially put Edmonds in there and you don't even want to know what I have been starting the last several weeks, lol.

    Marty Mornhinweg offense

What are thoughts on what we can expect with the change to Marty Mornhinweg? I know he spent a few years under Reid in Philly, but not familiar enough to know if any players may benefit from the change.
  3. Last year he seemed to feed Barnidge and Benjamin. Who is likely to pick up the bulk of Benjamin's targets?

    Alf Morris, buy low candidate?

Thinking of making a play at him as a buy low candidate, but not sure what to make of his #'s. He doesn't seem to be getting the carries he got last year. What are thoughts on him going forward? ROW rankings here have him at #8, which seems high to me.

    Bowe Droppable?

He hasn't sniffed my starting lineup in weeks and minus an injury, I don't see him getting in there for playoffs. Tempted to drop him for Blount as I have Martin. Is he WW material at this point?

    Murray likely has ligament damage

Here is what I was told by a foot specialist. My insurance wouldn't cover Dr. Andrews, but they did cover a licensed foot surgeon. A sprained foot is some form of damage to the ligaments of the midfoot. Any sprain further up would be the forefoot, which is referred to as turf toe. Anything further back would be classified as an ankle sprain. The bottom of the foot would be the plantar fascia. 26 bones, 33 joints, all held together to create a "spring" that allows your body to soak up the force your body generates during running. They stabilize the foot and spares your joints. Blood flow to the region is low and because of this it takes longer to heal than a typical sprain. Grade 1 - slight tearing & stretching of the ligaments, 4 week recovery. The foot would be immobilized, but could be walked on. Grade 2 - partial tearing, 10-12 week recovery. Foot is immobilized with a boot for three weeks and crutches are needed to ensure no weight is put on the foot during those 3 weeks. Grade 3 - full tear with surgery required. Recovery times were average...more if you are old, less if you are young and respond well to treatment. To be clear: I don't have any inside info on his injury. But given that they didn't classify it as turf toe, plantar fascia, or an ankle sprain, I made the assumption (perhaps incorrectly) that this injury was similar to the one I had. If you don't like the info, that's fine - I was simply trying to help out the board for people who were looking for RB ww pickups during bye weeks.

    Murray likely has ligament damage

You know, I went back and forth about whether to post that because I figured it would probably elicit that type of response. Never claimed to know any more than doctor Andrews or mort, just tried to provide some information based on personal experience. But hey, you are obviously providing much more value to this thread then I, so I'll turn the rest of it over to you.

    Murray likely has ligament damage

Anything is possible, but I'm not buying it. I had this injury last February and it was nasty. I couldn't walk right for weeks. The Doc told me it is quicker to recover from if you just break the bones. All the ligaments in the foot are what keep your balance. I'm sure they can shoot him up for the pain, but I'll be surprised if he is back in under 4 weeks. There is not much blood flow in the area and it takes a long time to heal. Same thing McFadden had last year....they kept thinking it would heal, but it takes a long time. I was told 12 weeks and I was probably only at 90% at that point.

    Brandon Lloyd

Nope. Benching Lloyd and Jennings (if Rodgers is out). Put VJax in and will put Seattle Mike Williams in. Would have started either over Lloyd.

    Monday Night-Bears @ Minnesota....outdoors?

The Vikes have a 50 year anniversary deal planned and will celebrate the 50 greatest Vikings players. People like Tarkenton, Bud Grant, etc., will be there. They are doing everything they can to keep it in MN because of that.

    Bowe

It could be worse - Bowe, Jennings, and Lloyd owner here. Thank god I had a bye last week as I put up my lowest total of the year.

    Big Ben Owners

I'm not sure what to do. He's beat to hell, but the ww is brutal. I don't know that I'd feel much better with a Jason Campbell over Ben. What are the rest doing?

    Roethlisberger Owners....

I'm lucky enough to have a bye this week, but I'm concerned about his #'s during ff playoffs. Are people going to roll with him for playoffs or go with someone else? Unfortunately, I traded away my backup QB to get Brandon Lloyd, so I may have to hit the WW.

What the hell am I suppose to do with VJax?

I was offered Vjax a couple weeks ago from an rb desperate team for Forsett, so I took it. I have thought about cutting him, but I'd rather keep him on my roster as I don't want him used against me. Unless I have an injury, I would likely never start him, but as long as you have the roster space, I say keep him. With the way Rivers is playing right now, I would hate to have a drop a huge game on me in playoffs. I used the same line of thinking when I bid a ton on Westbrook. Didn't want to face him later.

    Quinton Ganther

I think I'm rolling with Ganther over Addai or Mini-tron at my flex. At least I know Ganther will get the carries. I'm worried Addai gets rested with a dinged up knee and Mini has done nothing to get me here - and I don't need 2 pts from him in the semis.
