Saint Elistan 106 Posted July 25, 2014 Just got back from a 10-day visit to Ecuador. My girlfriend's (38DD) family was celebrating her Great Grandmother's (pancakes) 100th Birthday / Family Reunion. Not that you bastages missed me or care about these sort of things, but once I can compile everything I'll share my thoughts and photos. Beautiful country with so much to offer...can't believe it hasn't really been "discovered". And we didn't really have time to explore some of the biggest draws (like the Galapagos). We're already planning our return trip. Had a blast. It was a gastronomic adventure. I ate so much new stuff. I even tried Cuy. It's not as big in Ecuador as say Colombia or Peru, but you can still find it if you look hard enough. It tasted like dark, extremely salty chicken. Very lean - absolutely no fat. Yet oily. Weird. Not something I would eat again, but something to cross off the bucket list.
