Auction League with $200 cap, $75 of it for franchising

Recommended Posts

Here it goes. I'm in an auction league. Our cap is $200 and $75 of it can be used for franchising players from last year. So actually, I can take more than 2. Their value for franchising is based on 20% of their total points from last year. Here's my team and how much they would cost to franchise.

Delhomme,Jake - QB - 47

Brooks,Aaron - QB - 33

Fitzgerald,Larry - WR - 33

Johnson,Chad - WR - 31

Parker,Willie - RB - 28

Westbrook,Brian - RB - 26

Davis,Domanick - RB - 26

Wilford,Ernest - WR - 16

Stevens,Jerramy - TE - 12

Randle El,Antwaan - WR - 8

Wiggins,Jermaine - TE - 6

Rogers,Charles - WR - 3

Williams,Mike - WR - 3

I was thinking of keeping Chad & Fitz for a total of $64, leaving me $136 to go for a stud Rb & QB. Or do you th ink I should keep one of the RB's? I'm thinking that they RBs might still be available to get and maybe even cheaper than it would cost me to franchise them.

Here are our "unique" scoring rules. QB's & RB's get most of the pts, but we do get pts for receptions, but not per reception.

We can pick from the following Sets:

1. Standard Set QB RB RB WR WR TE K D/ST

2. Spread Formation QB RB WR WR WR TE K D/ST

3. Empty Backfield QB WR WR WR WR TE K D/ST

4. Empty Backfield/2 Tight Ends QB WR WR WR TE TE K D/ST

5. Spread Formation/2 Tight End QB RB WR WR TE TE K D/ST

6. Two Tight End Set QB RB RB WR TE TE K D/ST

Throwing an interception -1

Fumbles lost to other team -2

Consider this option:

Fitzgerald,Larry - WR - 33

Westbrook,Brian - RB - 26

Wilford,Ernest - WR - 16

Depending on when you have to make your decision of course.. Palmer issues drop value of Chad. Westbrook is great in league that give any points for RB receptions. And Wilford has the *potential* to be the #1 WR in JAX this year. You could also leave him out and have more money to spend in the auction.

Yes i go with Chad and Fitz but no matter what you need a rb and if necessary you could always trade one of them for a rb later on
