Thanks for your input. Will gladly respond to others posts who reply here.

With Gates at TE...there is no need to carry 2 back up TEs....the only week you will use them is during Gate's bye. Drop one or both and pick up someone else.

It will be a 22 man roster. We dont' have to cut it down to that until 2 weeks before the 1st game. I'm currently at 30 players. I didn't even list all 30 as some of them are sure drops. I plan on dropping one or both of those TE's when it's cutdown time. As there are 12 teams and each can hold up to 40 for now, there really isn't anything to grab right now.

I like this team- B-

Well, considering that as of about 1 month ago when I first took over this team, Fred Taylor was my #2 RB and Peerless Price and Cedrick Wilson were my #2 and #3 WR's to join Burress as my #1, can't say it's horrible. I like this team a lot better now than it was.

I actually just traded Droughns and Branch for Foster, Greg Jones, and DJax. I would have never considered this trade but for the fact that I own DeAngelo Williams. I think, given the bonus scoring, Foster could explode this year (I actually like him a lot), but with the injury risk definitely would need Williams to pull this off. As I also grabbed Taylor's main backup and upgraded at WR, it was worth parting with Droughns for the potential upside. At least I hope so...was an iffy trade for me.

you also are gonna want to drop ricky williams, he's in the cfl now.

Dynasty league. Keep all players forever until I drop them. Unless I'm hurting for roster space, no need to drop him yet.

Any other opinions or suggestions?

No real reason to hold onto him either. Certainly there has to be somebody more valuable.

Just a thought. Not sure how your dynasty league works but after looking at your WRs I was trying to think of who you might be able to trade for cheap. The young WR that IMO doesn't get nearly enough love is K. Curtis. When I. Bruce went down last year I picked this guy up and he did great. Bruce isn't getting any younger and I believe Curtis to be a real value in keeper/ dynasty leagues (T. Holt isn't over the hill but is also aging). Don't be surprised if Curtis takes the outright #2 WR position on the Rams this year. I know M. Martz is gone but I stilll think he would be a solid pickup. You might get him cheap this year, but if I'm right, next year = not so cheap.

Otherwise, it looks like you took over for a horrible owner who quit because he was lost. Good job on improving the team to this point.

On the first look, it's not a bad team at all. Some High Risk / High Reward giys there. If Foster can stay healthy for once, and Fred Taylor give you one more season of production. Not bad at all.

No stud receiver (Plax might be that guy this season) and Javon has potential - plus you have the hook-up (gotta love those hook-ups) with Plummer. I'd trade Hasselbeck and a low-runner/receiver for a stud receiver. Gates is excellent.

I can't believe, you keep all your players...........where is the Fun in that?

Heh, that's the point of a dynasty

Seems you overlooked Darrel Jackson too. That's the other "hookup" I have with Hasselbeck. As far as trading Hasselbeck + RB or WR for a stud WR, I've already looked at that angle. Plus, I like the comfort of having 2 solid QB's for now.

I like the idea of trying to pick up Curtis. I, too, think he's gonna be a producer in the near future. Problem is, I don't have much to offer that team in terms of trying to get him. But, I'll give it a shot.

Thanks for the opinions and suggestions to improve. I'm trying all angles now to "customize" this team into something I like and will enjoy working with.
