The Shepherd 10 Posted August 8, 2006 I could get a shot at LJ with the 3rd pick, in a 12 team redraft. I'm considering passing on him for Portis. Reasoning - the possibility of Priest coming back. This concerns me more than the loss of his FB and Roaf, or the offensive coord leaving. What do you gents think? Washington (Portis) has New Orleans and St Louis in weeks 15 and 16 (our play offs); KC (Johnson/Holmes) has San Diego and Oakland. For those who would still pick LJ, would you cuff Priest and in what round would you draft him assuming his status is unclear? He's the fastest man in the NFL running 2.8 yards and falling down. But Priest is scarry - I could envision him coming back week 8 for a playoff run with him and LJ doing RBBC - that's when I would have to kick the dog.
