I don't watch the NBA anymore, but wow did the Celts get jobbed last night.

Watcher that live last night. The offensive set the Bulls had for that last second play was awful.

What sucks is I always bash officials for not making obvious calls in the last seconds of games and then they make one and it's terrible

That was definitely a ticky tacky call. Should never be made to decide a game

Ticky tack? I'm not even sure he touched him at all.

ticky tack if there was contact, sure.

Horrible call.

The NBA has been dwindled down to every possession being a one on one game with four other dudes standing out of the way.

Except for the Greek freak, that kid is fun to watch

Well...pick and roll, pick and roll then one on one when it doesn't work. But yes.

Actually saw GS run the flex the other night...I giggled.

Total horseshit call. I couldn't believe it, but then I remembered that the NBA has a history of crooked refs.

Yes...they conspired to get an under .500 team to 7th in a terrible east. Cmon now.

I didn't say the league fixed it. NBA has a history of refs fixing games. Right?

Of all 4 major sports, the NBA has by far the worst refs.

Per the NBA:

In the league's daily Last 2 Minute report, it wrote that the foul whistled by referee Zach Zarba was the correct call. In the comment about the play, the league noted, "Smart (BOS) makes contact with Butler's (CHI) arm that affects his jump shot attempt. Any contact to a shooter's hand, arm, or wrist prior to the release of the shot is considered a foul."

That is a foul... technically. Touching someone's elbow - even lightly - will alter a shot greatly. The weird part is you hardly ever see it get called.
