Cruzer 1,992 Posted January 13, 2017 What???? I get it, these goofs prolly don't actually listen to Aikman do Cowboys games that don't involve GB.. But trust me, if they had - they'd realize that Aikman is about the farthest thing from a Dallas homer as there is... I used to wonder why it was, why it was Aikman was reluctant to talk about his Cowboys days or use his experiences with the team as reference points - then I saw the Aikman Football Life, then it all made sense. Apparently #8 still holds a grudge against Jerry and that reflects in his broadcast. Part of it could also be he's just a professional and doesn't let bias come into play. But either way - he's no Cowboys' cheerleader during his broadcasts, far from it. As of noon Wednesday, more than 16,000 people have signed a Change.org petition seeking to ban the Aikman-Buck duo from calling Packers games from the booth.

I fully agree, and I loved that special.....I understand and appreciate Troy more so now after watching it. * Also watched the "Dez Caught It!" playoff game again last night, now I hate the Packers all that much more. If Clay Matthews gets another cheap shot on a Cowboy, I may have to kick his ask!!!
Mike Honcho 4,015 Posted January 13, 2017 Packer fan, I don't care too much, it would be nice though if they paired Aikman with a human instead of Buckbot 2000.

Djgb13 2,338 Posted January 13, 2017 I don't hardly even pay them any attention during the game. They are just background noise so I have no idea why anyone even gets upset who's announcing the game
mighty_thor 115 Posted January 13, 2017 Lol at packers fans. The rest of the country had to listen to years of the Brett Favre/John Madden falaciation. They deserve to have Jerry Jones in the booth calling this game.
Hardcore troubadour 12,626 Posted January 13, 2017 Typical Wisconsin pussies. Whats up with that? I never would have thought that was the case until recently. Seems when everyone was pulling for little ol' Green Bay they were fine. Then whenthey started hearing about all the choke jobs they got real touchy.

supermike80 1,285 Posted January 14, 2017 I don't get the Joe Buck hate at all. He's doesn't bother me in the slightest. This. Who cares?Radio was asking "do you get pumped up when you hear it's Joe buck " and no one did. But who gets pumped up about an announcer??? Besides..the color guy to me is the more valuable of the two.
listen2me 23 1,541 Posted January 14, 2017 This. Who cares? Radio was asking "do you get pumped up when you hear it's Joe buck " and no one did. But who gets pumped up about an announcer??? Besides..the color guy to me is the more valuable of the two. Pumped up? It isn't a game killer. I just don't care for him and would rather listen to someone else. It is that simple. You are making it into something bigger. Are people not allowed to not like announcers? As they may not care for news anchors? Or refs? Or pre game shows? Or anything else under the sun? I don't get, what you don't get?

cmh6476 750 Posted January 15, 2017 I always hated when Dan Fouts or there was an old Raiders guy who would call chiefs game. They tried to be unbiased but occassionally it would come out. On the other hand, I always knew Kevin Harlan was a chiefs guy at heart. In my opinion I knew he tried not to present a bias, and I was curious if other teams could ever tell or not.
