mookie86mets 8 Posted December 27, 2017 My leagues finished last week,so it's time to look ahead. Obviously, rookies and off season changes are not included. Also, the order is subject to change. 1. Gurley 2. Bell 3. D. Johnson 4. Brown 5. Elliott 6. Kamara 7. Hopkins 8. Beckham 9. Hunt 10. Ingram 11. McCoy 12. Gordon
cmh6476 750 Posted December 27, 2017 Mahomes is way too low
weepaws 2,456 Posted December 27, 2017 No D Cook? And what if Big Ben retires? Why do you have Gurley number one? M Gordon who? Just so many questions and just a few many months too get it right, if your lucky.
AintNoStoppinMeNow 68 Posted December 27, 2017 These types of lists are nice to look at and think about but like the actual mock drafts for the NFL Draft that will start getting released soon are generally pointless. There's just way too much that can and will change between now and August. As already mentioned, what if Big Ben retires? We've already seen what Brown looks like without him. What if Bell prices himself out of Pitt and finds himself on another team? What if the Giants go with Davis Webb or a rookie at QB? Can you imagine the temper tantrums Beckham will throw when he's not getting the ball?! Last year's lists would've had David Johnson as the consensus #1 pick. Owners who drafted him didn't even get a full game out of him this season. There's just way too much to even consider at this point.
mookie86mets 8 Posted December 27, 2017 Maybe I should have rephrased the topic. By no means am I saying this is a definitive list. Obviously, a number of variables will effect this list. I was just curious to see other's first round right now. Just a little fun.
the s is ilent 69 Posted December 28, 2017 Top six a no brainer. Bottom six has a lot of bust potential.
cousinal111 57 Posted December 28, 2017 Pretty good list although a lot could change. One early note to take from this is the importance of having a Top 5 pick.
Gepetto 982 Posted December 28, 2017 I would have Hunt and McCoy higher. Maybe find room for Fournette and/or Dalvin Cook.
the spanker 28 Posted December 28, 2017 I would have Hunt and McCoy higher. Maybe find room for Fournette and/or Dalvin Cook. I won't be paying a 1st rounder on an older RB like McCoy or guys like Fournette who struggled to stay on the field. He gets banged up too easily for my liking. With Murray and McKinnon still around, I would worry Cook's workload may be spread out a little more, so not a 1st rounder for me either. Hunt I have more faith in. But yes nothing like having fun here.
mookie86mets 8 Posted December 28, 2017 Fournette would scare me.

But I agree, with Murray being able to handle the load (and hopefully healthy to start the season), it should be RBBC.
weepaws 2,456 Posted December 28, 2017 Naw I see Cook being the rb1. Draft Beckham with caution, someone on this board already predicted that the would indeed suffer another injury. McCoy has been very good this season, but I don't know about being a first rounder next season. Mccaffery is a player that I like even more so next season with one year under his belt. graphix28 10 Posted December 28, 2017 Murray will be a 4-5 carry a game guy. That's it. When cook gets back
weepaws 2,456 Posted December 28, 2017 The more I look at a list, the more I like The Zeke number one, even in a ppr league. Revelation 16:6&10&10&15.
thegame 8 Posted December 29, 2017 I may take Kamara as high number two after Gurley based on what happens with Bell. And even then may take him over Bell. Gurley still really young as is his QB and Coach. He's the unquestioned number one pick. DJ's situation may not be that great....kinda like Beckham and possibly Brown. Who's gone be the QB for these guys? I'll likely take Nuke as first WR.
weepaws 2,456 Posted December 29, 2017 Really, no concern of Ingram?
thegame 8 Posted December 29, 2017 Really, no concern of Ingram? Not really. Kamara finished 5th in PPR (not including QBs) and he didn't even get rolling until a few weeks in. I'm fine if Ingram is still there.
