Paul Pierce - Hits last shot in Boston

So the Clippers played the Celtics today. Paul Pierce has never been held scoreless at the Garden, and this is hist last game there. He barely plays today but as the game was out of hand the Clips put him in for the last 20 seconds or so. On the Clips last offensive possession he gets an open look at a 3 and nails it. Cost me some cash as his make allowed the Clips to cover the spread but so be it. Still never held scoreless at the Garden. As a Lakers fan I have great respect for Paul Pierce and it was nice to see.

He started and did nothing. They put him for the last 20 seconds with the game in control. Isaiah Thomas switched out on him and gave him token defense on an open 3. Pierce stuck it for a really nice moment. He deserved it and the fans were top notch all day for him.

I saw it. Paul Pierce was a Lakers fan too, as am I, and a Jayhawks fan. But Pierce is forever a Celtic.
