Love the brandin cooks pick and really love the Andre pick. Think he is in for a huge year.

Miller was tops on my board but my next 3 would have been benjamin, cooks, andre

I like the Gore and Miller running backs selections. Very good value and both are mostly 3-down backs with the jobs all to themselves.

I wanted a WR here, but was also only going to take BPA. That happened to be Keeenan Allen, IMO. #1 WR on a team that will throw the ball a lot. Third year receiver who will recover from last year.

Really like the Keenan Allen pick, and almost took him myself. But Watkins was the most talented receiver on the board, and I opted for that as priority. He will get the ball and he'll be a playmaker.

Well ****.

Things certainly didn't go as expected. If I'd known a certain back would have been there for me, I would have taken a WR in the third.

Dan: I had a few WRs over Watkins. I don't like his QB situation and Rex Ryan likes to run the ball, not pass it. I agree with you on the talent side of things, but in this case, I believe the "situation" he is in prevails. Nice pick and I wouldn't quable with you, but for me, I think Buffalo's offense is a wasteland in 2015.

I hear that. But I'm one of those weird people that think the offense is going to be better than people think up there. The QB situation is in flux, but it will not be as bad as what Rex worked with in New York. Talent will out, in general, and I'm very interested in seeing what they do up there this year.

I know the rb you're thinking of... well I think I do

I intended to only take one of them, if available, when I went to bed. I figured ray would have to go RB. When I woke up, I backed off of the other direction I had considered taking with one of the picks, and hope I didn't mess up. I'm happy that Cooks is without Stills and Graham, and has a motivated QB. I was really surprised that Kelvin made it back. He will have to be my #1 TD wise and Cooks my #1 reception wise. When given lemons you have to make lemonade and that is kind of what the 12 spot is. I do differ from Ray though, because this draft is following ADP's to the "T".

The guy I considered over Cooks was Andre. I feel Andre could have a 10+TD season. There are lots of mouths to feed there but he isn't done and I feel he might just outshine Hilton. I didn't have the guts. I feel Gore was solid at juncture also!

I'm happy to get Latavius here. I actually had him ranked above the last 4 Rbs taken. Love what he did last season, I like the Raiders offense improving, see a nice upside in him.

Guys - Busy day at work for me so will only be able to check in sporadically. If I'm delaying things, RC and Robb have my cell.

Never had a chance to comment on my turn.

RB- Mark Ingram, NOS 3.11 RB- Todd Gurly, STL 4.02

Often if I am drafting near the bottom of the serpentine, or "the turn" I feel faced with a unique approach to the draft.

Simply put you can best focus on a WR-WR or a RB-RB, and when you do it boils down to simple math. If you decide RB-RB in rounds 1 and 2, and then WR-WR later, you look at the projected production for each potential grouping to decide a strategy.

So if I think the combination of Bryant/Thomas with Ingram/Gurly is a better scoring potential than the available combos in reverse, or mixed, then I roll that way. The path of the draft in this instance delivered two high producing WR's that I felt would create an advantage over any alternative.

Therefore, I think any resulting mix of RB-RB and WR-WR between other teams would perhaps likely not outscore my combination based on what I see so far. Then it boils down to achieving a QB-TE sequence that leverages best available, but more acutely finds that QB later who can out perform his draft spot, and also negate any TE disparity by waiting there as well.

Not in love with the RB duo. Can't argue, obviously, with the receivers but I think i would have opted for a safer back over gurly given your draft spot.

Yea, blame me. I slowed down the morning push. This is what I get for living in California.

When I decided to go with Luck #1 overall instead of an RB, I knew the 4th/5th turn would then have to go RB/RB. I expected to get 2 of Yeldon (though a rookie as my #1 really scared me), Stewart, Ellington and 1 other RB. So ended up right where I expected.

Yes, Stewart has the injury history but finally showed at the end of 2014 what he's capable of and there's really no one behind him on the depth chart to be utilized for a consistent split of carries. Risky, yes but he's the only RB in this tier with no real competition for carries.

Ellington was great to start the season last year. He's healthy again so no reason for him not to pick up where he left off. And with a healthy (for now) QB it should help free up running lanes.

So not too bad for waiting until my 4th and 5th picks to grab RBs.

Unfortunate timing... Fumble and I were around when Guru wasn't while he was otc. Fumble went away just before Guru made his 4th round pick. Then I went away just before Fumble made his pick (presumably after getting back from lunch). And now Fumble's gone right before I made my turn picks.

It happens.

I'm around now, so if Fumble gets back soon and I can decide who I want quickly, we can get on a bit of a roll.

To everybody's credit, we got a lot of work done yesterday.

High risk pick for me here. If Manning's pop-gun arm returns in 2015, I could be in trouble. But, Thomas and Sanders were drafted in places that suggest a confidence in one more top 5 season. The upside is maybe 35 TDs and a boatload of yards. Based on that, I am willing to roll the dice here.

Manning is a solid pick in round 5. Aside from his injury season, I wonder when the last time his value has been this low.

Manning was a real consideration for me with the next pick, so kudos to you.

With Manning off the board, I figured I would be able to land any of the next tier of quarterbacks in the sixth or seventh. In Randle, I get the presumptive starter in Dallas, which may boast the best offensive line in the league. It is a bit of an upside pick, but one that can return top 10 RB value if Randle gets the starting job and runs with it.

I have Randle in a few of my dynasty leagues and am happy to see how he pans out, but I was nervous that he'd be one of the RBs left for me to pick from at my 4/5 turn. It's risky enough waiting this long but the added risk of not knowing for sure if he's the starter had me worried about taking him but considering he's your 4th RB, well worth the risk for you.

Decided to go "safe" and go Julian Edelman. There were some younger WRs in mind, but I went with comfort over the hope that every single year, the rookie WRs will out-produce projections.

This rounds out my starting RBs and WRs and I feel pretty comfortable with what I have.

It's time to draft a kicker...

Kelce: Looking for big things from him this year. After Manning, there's so many QBs in the same area.

There's a TE or two who might outproduce Kelce, but I think Kelce hasn't yet reached his potential, while the others already have peaked.

If I wasn't happy with two RBs at the 4/5 turn I was going to make Kelce one of my picks. Like him a lot.

He's my third RB, but I hear you. Between the volume I think Yeldon will see and opportunity Randle has, one of the two (if not both) should fill my RB2 spot capably. Can you imagine how Randle's value will skyrocket if he gets handed the job in early August?

After Manning went, it was between Randle and Kelce for me. NIce job.

I was targeting him at my next pick, was hoping he might be flying under the radar a little bit.
