Ray_T 589 Posted June 19, 2017 In one of my leagues, I have multiple potential keepers. I would like to get some opinions on a few things. In my league, the scoring is standard. We are allowed to keep 3. You dont give anything up to keep them and you can keep for as long as you wish. My potential keepers are below: Aaron Rodgers DeMarco Murray Doug Martin Isaiah Crowell Paul Perkins Hopkins Fitzgerald Kelce -------------------------------------------- I dont think there is any doubt, I should be keeping 2 RB's and Aaron Rodgers. the question is which 2 RB's? to complicate this, there is a team in our league who is in dire need of keepers. Their best Keepable players are: Andy Dalton Demaryius Thomas Keenan Allen Melvin Gordon Latavius Murray. I have my eye on Melvin Gordon(the only real good keeper they own). I was thinking of offering Demarco Murray and Martin or Crowell for him and then we do an exchange of draft picks to even things out. I'm just trying to figure out what fair value would be here. I finished 3rd in the standings last year, and they finised second to last. While Murray may outscore Gordon this year, I think if it happens, it will probably be the last time because Murray is now 29. I do think Murray has one more very good year in the tank (possibly two) but that's likely all. Any thoughts on value? This person's team hasnt been competitive since I got into the league. While I probably could make a deal to steal Gordon, I don't want to do that. I want to make a reasonable offer and offer fair value without overpaying (or underpaying) I figure this offer may allow that team to have a good shot at being competitive next year (at least their RB's will be okay)
weepaws 2,457 Posted June 19, 2017 I would make the offer. I don't think Murray will out score Gordon in a non ppr league this season. I think Henry will be more involved in the running game this season and especially in the short yardage and the redzone. And the other person gains two starters I like the deal. weepaws 2,457 Posted June 19, 2017 I think the players are enough. Again he's gaining two good starters.
Pt14reds 0 Posted June 21, 2017 If you can get Gordon do it. If I were the Gordon owner, there is no trade you can make to get him from me.

weepaws 2,457 Posted June 21, 2017 I'm all in all Gordon and do indeed think he will have a fantastic season. But if I'm the other owner I'm going to get two starting Rbs for one. I want to win today, so I'm taking. The deal.
