Overthinking Now... Always Do... Alshon Jeffery Advice

Recommended Posts

Standard League - Situation is I just had Antonio Brown blow up so do I play it safe with a running back or keep this the same

I think I have had like 3 questions on my line up this week so sorry for belaboring the point

Now with Alshon Jeffery's ankle injury do I bench him for any of these guys?

Alshon Jeffery @ Dallas (#22 OPP RANK) - Starting at the moment

Or Replace with:

Joe Mixon @ Denver (#17 OPP RANK)

Orleans Darka vs. Kansas City (#21 OPP RANK)

Thanks you and Leave a Link

Obviously keep an eye out for any clues about alshon's health, but I might swap him with darkwa if you want to play it safe. Alshon is the superior play but yeah anytime a guy is listed as questionable late in the week it makes it a more risky play.

First five games the KC def gave up an avg of 87 rushing yards per game and 4 rush tds

Last four games they have given up 114 rush yards per game and 4 rush Tds

but.. they're coming off a bye and that offense might leave them playing catchup.

Don't mind me, I'm just making it harder for scott. :P

I think the Gmen def might keep their own offense playing catchup.

Indeed if you have 2 and 4 year old I don't know why you bother asking on this site.

Your set.

Thanks weepaws. In a standard league I do like playing running backs over wide receivers. All it takes is a goal line carry.

I'd probably go with Mixon. If at around 4pm you need a huge game to win and Jeffery is likely to play then maybe I'd go with him. Basically, I think Jeffery is as likely to get you a big game as a really bad game. Mixon will probably get 50 to 70 yds and maybe a TD (assuming no freak injury occurs).

Stuck with Jeffery and it paid off. Every dog has his day. Darkwa wouldnt have let me down either. The Giants game was a shocker to me.
