Bradshaw was head and shoulders better than Jacobs. I remember more Brandon whiffs than Ahmad.

I heard on ESPN this morning that they have had Peyton on a snap count during practice his whole time in Denver. That's gotta mean that Brock had taken some first team snaps during practice, right? I am leaning towards picking him up not to start him but to prevent the Peyton owner from grabbing him. (In my league, he is doing really well.) With WRs and he TE that they have, Brock should still be able to put up decent numbers, right? Or have I over-analyzed this?
-
Thanks. Thought it might have been a good way to "Brock" the Manning owner.
-
With Peyton's high ankle sprain, a hard hit or sack could knock him out. And with all of their receiving weapons, the Broncos wouldn't run the ball exclusively. Worth a flier or just move along?
-
you would not be screwing the people ahead of you in the waiver order if you trade a worthwhile player in the deal.
-
The original poster made no mention of a trade back. I see no reason why someone can't trade their #1 trade priority. Owners in my league hardly make any claims because they cover it so much. To go back to your Rodgers example, the #1 waiver priority offered to pick up Foles and trade him and Brady to me since I lost Rodgers. Is that shady? Waiver position is an asset, not a right. People attain a higher position by properly managing their team, not by telling other owners they can!t pick up and trade players. What if this was earlier in the season and the #1 waiver owner picked up the flavor of the week with the express intention of trading him. Is that circumventing the waiver wire or just bring a smart owner?

A.Rodgers has a small fracture in his collarbone

I traded Rodgers and Gonzo for Cam this morning in my keeper league. I have a feeling he may be out longer than three weeks. In any case, I needed a QB. -
It's close, but if I were the commissioner of the league, I would veto the trade as well. After analyzing both owners' lineups and the traded players strength of schedule, it is clear one team is gaining a tremendous advantage. If I were the poster, I would go with the commissioner to each of the owners' homes and punch them in the face in front of their wives and kids.

WTF ? Justin Blackmon suspended indefinitely?

Traded him and Mathews earlier this week in exchange for Rice and Gonzalez. Was worried I bought too low. Now I know I sold at the highest. No pun intended. -
I screwed up the meme. It's Thomas Jones. Not A-Train. But my crystal ball didn't tell me a 25k poster would fall for an old fft meme like this!
-
It's a tough call but if I were commish, I would veto as well. While AP is the number one back, Reggie has open running lanes due to Megatron. I remember a similar trade being vetoed a few years ago, when one team tried to trade Jamaal for the A-Train. (Vetoed because A-Train was better at reading his blocks than Charles.) But if the owners really wanted to get the trade passed, they should just go to the commish's house and punch him in the face in front of his wife and kids.
-
While it may seem lopsided, if I were commish I would let it go through. Big Ben is much better at reading his blocks than Brady, and can pick up more valuable rushing yards. If I were the poster, I would go to my house and punch myself in the face in front of my wife and kids for objecting to this trade.

This. The Giants o-line stinks. And their linebackers are crud. They could be 0-8 by the bye.

Is there anyone else on lyour team who you can drop? Are you only allowed to carry three RBs?

Would you rather have M. Floyd or Wright?
