RamFan11 0 Posted October 22, 2014 Will Ingram ever get back to 15-20 touches. Thomas out I am thinking he will but so many backs there in the mix.
Frozenbeernuts 1,652 Posted October 22, 2014 Its hard to tell. This week he goes up against a bad packers run defense. The problem is the packers offense is rolling and the saints defense isnt all that good. There may not be much opportunity for ingram this game.
weepaws 2,457 Posted October 22, 2014 Will Ingram ever get back to 15-20 touches. Thomas out I am thinking he will but so many backs there in the mix. Tough question . Hard to say for sure . Thomas being out of course does help .
bobby heenan 60 Posted October 22, 2014 It def is tough to tell...it suck he got hurt cause he looked to be on the verge....it could be that ingram and Robinson split remains the same with cadet taking the pt work....I'd like to see ingram get back to what he was foing....but it's tough to be sure...ingrams work will prob depend on game flow but it's tough to predict
JT 137 Posted October 22, 2014 Ingram will be their #1 back going forward. How many carries that translates to is going to vary, as the Saints have trouble keeping games close. Thomas is out. Robinson is explosive but they don't trust him at all in the passing game and he had a big fumble lost last week vs Detroit. Ingram is the only back that allows them to run everything in their playbook, which is why Thomas held onto that #1 spot there for so long. NO Faces some tough run defenses after GB, but 3 of those 4 are at home and the Saints are a different team there. In wks 13-16 they get Pitt, Chi and Atl. If your roster can handle some 65 yd/1 TD days from Ingram along the way, I think he could be a big benefit going forward.

I could def handle 65 and a td from ingram most weeks....he's my 3...behind lacy and ellington...I'd take that on lacy's bye week ....I've flexed a 4th receiver every week...but with some wr byes coming up I'd like to see ingram make a decent flex play

Filthy Fernadez 2,696 Posted October 22, 2014 I traded Ingram straight up for Jennings prior to Sunday's game in my work league (PPR) and glad he took it. Sean Peyton is just about like Belichick with his RB usage. In my PPR money league, I avoided the whole Brown/Dixon crap and settled for Cadet for the short term spike. I believe he'll keep the receptions he siphoned off of PT.
Kent 228 Posted October 22, 2014 Gb run d ranks 13 according to cbs. That's a good run d. I'm starting him and hoping Cadet doesn't get as much play as PT did.

Jarvis Basnight 119 Posted October 22, 2014 SNF in the Superdome. I expect the Saints to be on fire. GB is going to have a tough night.

Saints1 4 Posted October 25, 2014 Cadet will be the pass catching back. Ingram will get most of the carries. The problem with this and what makes Pierre effective is that when PT is in there is more a dual threat. It gets more predictable when Ingram or Robinson is in. It's probably a run! stonewall 647 Posted October 25, 2014 Ingram will get his chances this week with the news of Khiry out, for sure. I think that the biggest beneficiary will be Cadet, as they love to throw the screens and dump-offs. I think Cadet will get some carries and Ingram will get some passes, as well. Jarvis Basnight 119 Posted October 27, 2014 Who's Cadet? Wish Ingram played for a different team. He's pretty good.
Kent 228 Posted October 27, 2014 Happy with this evening. Down big, had Brees and Ingram. Need to hang on tomorrow.
Serpent 51 Posted October 27, 2014 Wasn't sure he was healthy this week so left him on my bench. He'll be starting for me going forward unless he gets injured again. Started MacKinnon over him instead and lost in one league. I think I'll go Ingram+Hillman the rest of the way out. I like and have Bradshaw in all my leagues too, but I think the former two are better bets.
Frozenbeernuts 1,652 Posted October 27, 2014 Started ingram and still got obliterated by 40 points. Cutting my leagues down next year so that instead of 7 pathetic teams i will only have 4 pathetic teams.

TennisMenace 156 Posted October 28, 2014 I too played McKinnon, Hillman, and Bell and left Ingram on the bench, concerned about Cadet stealing his passes and Green Bay forcing saints to pass all the time. I was wrong again, which is why I am 2-6.
Serpent 51 Posted October 28, 2014 McKinnon seemed like a safe bet, with that awful Buccs D. But it's fantasy, where educated guesses mean nothing and it always turns out to be luck.
