Does Cutler bounce back against a Injured New England Defense?

Recommended Posts

Been riding him all year. Along with Marshall.

Do you think he has a decent game against Pats?

Will he feed Marshall the ball after him calling his arse out in locker room?

Or are you using other QB options this week?

I played him over Wilson last week. Obviously, that was a big mistake, although at least I played Wilson over him for Wilson's earlier 100 yard rushing game this year. I am going back to Wilson this week.

Cutler will be doing this :bench: for now.

Just sold Cutler and Marshall in a big trade. I don't have a good feeling about this passing offense going forward. Sure, Cutler will bounce back and Marshall will have some great games. But I don't think they reach the hype that was expected for the rest of the season. Word coming out of Chicago is that they want to limit Cutler's chances for a mistake, so expect a lot more of Forte going forward. Fortunately, that defense won't keep them in many games so Cutler will have to throw.

My other option is Palmer whom I scooped up off waivers 2 weeks back. I havent played him yet and was only planning to use him Cutlers week 9 bye.

NE just lost Chandler Jones for a month.

First Mayo.

Now Chandler Jones.

Mayo was the MLB signal caller - stout in the middle, defensive leader.

Jones was basically the only pass rush threat they had - and at times he was thoroughly disruptive.

Both are out.

Revis was not at practice today and really in a Pats uniform hasn't looked like the best-cornerback ever .. a very good corner? yes. Awe inspiring shut down corner? nope.

And while Revis may or may not blanket Marshall well, NE defense has no answer against Forte, Jeffrey, and Bennett.

This game could be a shootout with both defenses getting torched and either Cutler's stupidity or CHI's clock mis-management costing the Bears against Belichick.

Both score-at-will and the team that plays "chess" a bit better squeaks out the win.

I think cutler is a fine play. Could be a shootout, this is that time of year. You know, the yearly time when NE starts shaky then bounces back to yawn into a first rnd playoff bye and everyone has them as a favorite in the afc.

Yep shootout (on paper at least). I expect a bounce back game for CHI and Cutler, no doubt. Only worry I have is weather-- which I have not done any research on whatsoever for SUN's game.

What is he bouncing back to? Bears ain beat Patriots since 2000 and never at New England so I expect a 4 interception game.

Cutler has played 4 road games this year so far, and in 3 of them, he did not throw a pick (threw 2 INTs at Carolina). I'd expect a better game from Cutler in NE. Bears have not won a home game and play better on the road, Cutler in particular.

Cutler Road: 9TDs/2INTs in 4 games

Cutler Home: 5TDs/5INTs in 3 games

Don't overlook Cutler's ability F everything up. I hate him. I wish we had Kyle Orton back myself. If I'm calling the game, Forte gets 60 carries. I wouldn't even have Cutler in the game because he'll find a way to turn the ball over just handing off. Direct snap to Forte 60 times

I'm starting him over Tannehill for now. Just too many good receivers.

I am starting Palmer over him with confidence

There is no bounce back for Cutler. Only the weekly torture of watching him consumed by the swirling cesspool of his own secret thoughts.
