*** '07 Player Projections By NFL Team ***

Henry may not be all world, but he is a damn good RB without too many miles on his wheels. In 2002 with Buf he posted 1742 total yards, with 14 TD. I am just saying that with the Denver system, and his toughness and running style, I would see him matching or slightly imporving on those numbers. Plus, he proved last season in Ten that he can be a real beast at running back and that was with a swiss cheese line, and opposing Def putting 8 in the box becuase they knew that the run was coming due to not having respect for V young as a passer. Overall, I do see Henry being a top 5-8 RB in a ppr league by seasons end.

With Travis Henry getting the money he got, and the fact that the Den didn't go after any significant RB in the draft, this all points to Denver finally having a feature RB for the first time since 2003 with Portis. This is what I see for Henry this season: 335 carries 1650 yds 12 TD 4.9 ypc 38 rec 308 yds 1 TD

Enough with the RBs lets talk WRs

I agree with everything, expecially TO at #2. I am in the minority however, in thinking that Boldin will be ahead of Fitz this season. Other than that, I like your top 12. Nice job.

Enough with the RBs lets talk WRs

I think you all are putting TO far to low. Look, we all hate him, but he proved last season, with inconsistancy at QB, that he can put up the numbers. He was second in my ppr league, behind Harrison, so why in the world would he be below the top 5 with a QB with more starts under his belt, and small improvments on the OL and whole team overall. I think ya'll are crazy if you don't put TO in the top 5. Just my opinion, and trust me, i can't stand him, but he is a gamer.
  9. Just wanted to get an idea of which one would be better. Winslow had almost 30 more catches than witten and 3 more TD. They were about the same in yards. But there is always the injury concerns with Winslow. What do you think?
  10. I am interested. What site are you using?

Good B Jacobs talk from Off Cor

In all reality, I truly fell that Jacobs can have a Gore like year. Like I said before, he may not have 100rec, but I do see him being in the 40-50 rec range. Plus, lets not foreget that he has had the chance to learn from one of the best all purpose backs in the game. Mark my words, he will be a top 15 RB in my ppr league this season.

Good B Jacobs talk from Off Cor

Actually, I think Jacobs will do fine catching the ball on screens and whatnot. With tiki playing, jacobs had 11 catches for 149yds. Yea, 11 catches is nothing, but that is a 13.5 yd avg. If you watch the video, the last clip is of a nice swing pass that he caught just fine. I am not saying that he will catch 100 balls, but I could see about 40-45 catches for about 350-400 yds as a ceiling. Also, as a comparison, Frank Gore had 15 catches for 131 yds while he was splitting time with Barlow in 2005. So that would make you think that he wouldn't be much of a pass catching RB. Then last season he hauls in 61 catches for 485yds. We will see, but I think that Jacobs is going to suprise some people, if he can stay healthy. Good B Jacobs talk from Off Cor

I like the fact that he said the are going to keep the same playbook as when tiki was there. This would mean that in a PPR league, Jacobs might have some added value. Giants RB Jacobs ready to fill RB void Written by: VINNY DiTRANI ¦ 5/12/2007 Source: www.northjersey.com EAST RUTHERFORD -- This is guaranteed not to happen: It is halftime of the Giants' first regular-season home game against Green Bay. Tiki Barber, seated in the owners' box, grabs a microphone and tells the cheering crowd, "Well, they came and got me out of the studio, and I can tell you it's a privilege to be back." Unlike Roger Clemens, some retirements do stick, and Barber's is one of them. His days of being the Giants' running game have ended. Now, for the first time in his career, Brandon Jacobs gets a chance to be "the Man." That new role, says offensive coordinator Kevin Gilbride, will require some change of philosophy on Jacobs' part. No longer is he a 265-pound freak of a running back, looking to run over people during his few carries a game. "They've encouraged him to be that way," Gilbride said of Jacobs' roll-'em-over running style. "But you're not the change-of-pace guy anymore, hopefully you are the guy. You hope that he would learn that himself as part of the natural process. "That's the thing that I'm worried about: does he have the stamina to stay in there for a whole game and carry the ball 20-to-25 times over 16-17 weeks? But I'm kind of excited at what he's going to do." "Coach shouldn't worry," Jacobs said when informed of Gilbride's concerns. "Me being the guy, things will have to change. I can't play 16 games and play the same way I have been playing, but I can easily go back to making people miss. "They needed help on short yardage and goal line, and I fixed that. Now I have to look to another part of my game, running around people and making them miss. I know how to make people miss." Gilbride knows he might be messing with a good thing here, so he has not approached Jacobs personally about changing his style. "That's been his distinguishing characteristic," Gilbride said of the power running. "Do you want to take that away from him? "That's like telling Frank Sinatra, 'Don't have the swagger you have, take that away from the stage.' That's what makes him him. But can he last?" Jacobs carried the ball 38 times, primarily in short-yardage situations, as a rookie in 2005 and 96 times in an expanded role last season. He has not rushed more than 150 times in a season since his junior college days in Coffeyville, Kan. (2001-2002). He ran 72 times for Auburn playing behind Cadillac Williams and Ronnie Brown in 2003, and 150 times sharing the chores at Southern Illinois in 2004. He will get some help from veteran Reuben Droughns, a similar style, but smaller runner. Yet Gilbride says the Giants will not look to change their running game, calling the same plays they did for Barber, including the stretch play at which the Pro Bowl runner excelled thanks to his unerring cutback ability. "I think this guy can [run the stretch], he's faster, he's faster than Tiki," Gilbride said. "It was his ability to cut back that made Tiki special. That's what I don't know [with Jacobs]. But we're definitely going to have those plays. At this point it still will be a core play, a base play, for us. "Will it be as good a play? That remains to be seen." Yet Gilbride says when Jacobs gets to the edge and finds someone not quite in the right position to defend, that's when he can just bowl over defenders. "And that gets you going," he said of the physical accomplishment. "Is he as tough and physical as you're looking for? I have no question about that, yes. Does he have the body, the height? You look at him and there's no question. "But can he actually do that for 16 weeks? That's one of the things we're going to have to find out."

    Jerry Porters Dynasy Value?

Cool, thanks for the heads up. As for the vet WR out there, there are none. At least, none of any significance.
