    I dont need points tonight

    2 tds already...hahaha

    Megatron

5th in yards, 9th in catches and only 1 TD. He's not having that bad of a year, the lack of TD's doesn't help. He's had a bad case of the dropsies this year, along with a QB who is not in sync. In my PPR league, he is 14th ranked WR. He's already had his BYE, with many before him have not. His game vs the Bears was bad, but the Bears are really good and the Lions O is not this year (so far). I drafted him in the 8th spot out of 10. I am still happy with that decision.

    No more

QBS - RGIII, Rivers, Romo RB - Foster, Mathews, Jackson WR - Nicks, Austin, Thomas, Wallace, Marshall TE - Vernon Davis, Fred Davis D/K - Interchangeable weekly I started off hot, winning my first two games - number 2 in points. Now, after benching RGIII this week due to his wonderful week last week, I start Rivers, who went ahead and literally gave the game to the Broncos and to my opponent. Final score was 106-109. My team is stacked due to it being a fun, couples only 8 person league. Regardless, my g/f is 5-1 after this week, and number 1 in points scored. I don't like losing, especially when I have that many good players. Thanks to my switch of QB's, I am now sitting pretty at 2-4.

Stafford to Megatron this year is like water torture

Let's all blame Stafford for the Lions problems. Detroit is the 3rd ranked team with dropped passes. Stafford is definitely not the same player that he was last year, but he's also not getting help when he tosses them to his guys. http://stats.washingtonpost.com/fb/tmleaders.asp?type=Receiving&range=NFL&rank=232

    Antonio Gates

I trust in Gates - like what's been posted already, he can still get open he is just dropping passes or getting poor throws his way. Ive also noticed extra attention his way, like a LB and Safety holding him down and measing with his timing. i can see him having a hot rest of the season once that first big game hits. he and rivers are BFF, itll happen.

    1-4 Teams come on in!

10 man, PPR 6pt td Got my first win tonight against the #1 team in the league - and I did it without my #1 pick, Megatron. P. Rivers M. Forte R. Bush F. Jackson S. Ridley C. Johnson M. Colston A. Brown A. Gates Gates has sucked this year, colstons slow start and me starting the wrong RB`s for a few weeks made me shoot myself in the foot. Losing Forte and Jackson and Bush in back to back weeks sucks as well.

    Steven Jackson

He's been injured, so that's slowed him down. However, there were two games where he had a TD called back due to penalty. Right now, he's got bad luck, but I think in a few weeks hes going to start putting up nice RB#2 numbers.

How much faith is there in the Steelers offense?

It's not the offense I am so concerned with, or the run game. Its the pass protection. Steelers offensive line looks ###### again, so if that front 7 get pressure, it could make cause headaches. Saying that, Big Ben has faced better defenses and better secondaries. Sure, the corners are good, but those safeties can be exploited. With Wallace fully integrated and back to stretching the field, Brown causing problems on the other side and Heath Miller tearing up the middle, the Eagles have their hands full. I am playing Wallace this week with little doubt hell have a decent game.

    Thoughts on Peyton Manning

Just because he is Peyton Manning, and he seems to be close to 100%, and maybe get there by week 1, I am going to say low end Top 10. Rodgers, Brees, Brady, Stafford (if he stays healthy again), Romo, Eli and Rivers I would rank above him at this point. Personally, I would like to grab him as a starter to couple along with Cutler/Palmer/Ryan.

Is D - Thomas WR Denver now a top 10 WR?

The guy was proclaimed to be another Brandon Marshall, the better version. He has shown flashes, and looked good with a terrible QB. If he can stay healthy, and Manning can be half as good as he was in Indianapolis, good things. I say Top 10.

    John Elway

Tebow actually picked Jets > Jaguars. Something about being in a bigger market so he can spread the word better. Wish I could link to source, will update when I find it. *Edit* Found it - http://www.nfl.com/news/story/09000d5d827c664b/article/broncos-trade-tim-tebow-to-jets-jaguars-miss-out-on-bid

Random news to throw out there

Michel Bush a Steeler? He could be a nice fit. I prefer him over big baby Hillis. Just speculating.
  13. gregzeetheking

Colts fans -- good news ......he's gone

That is too smart and obvious of a decision to happen.

How in the world did Steelers D

It's a loss we deserved frankly. This whole year was a down year. Injuries once again hit us bad. Lucky to do as well as we did. Heal up, see you next year. Besides, I didn't want to see Brady get his revenge from the loss earlier in the year.

    Winners, sign in here!

First time winner here: Matthew Stafford Wllis McGahee Kahlil Bell Marques Colston Larry Fitzgerald Demaryius Thomas Antonio Gates Steelers D David Akers Bench : Tim Tebow, Darren McFadden (traded for him week 7, he got me 1 point and out rest of season...I HATE HIM SO MUCH), 49ers D, Steven Jackson, Hakeem Nicks, Felix Jones, Santana Moss I normally start Nicks and Steven Jackson, but their matchups made me think twice. Shouldn't have switched Jackson, but benching Nicks for Thomas, whew! Good call. Akers was MVP for my team, along with 49ers defense last week. They single handedly won games for me.
