Interesting factoid of the day

Recommended Posts

A modern pacemaker needs 80,000 lines of code to work properly and keep a patient alive.

The F-22 Raptor, arguably the most advanced fighter aircraft in the world has 1.75 million lines of code.

The new Boeing 787 Dreamliner has over 6.5 million lines of code for its avionics package and onboard support systems.

And a 2016 Ford F-150? Over 150 Million lines of code :shocking:

#include <stdio>

int main()

{

printf(

"That

stat

may

be

misleading

:dunno:

")

;

return 0;

}

Yeah, this. Without the cat running across the keyboard.

Somebody would have to elucidate.

Does that mean you can change the blinker fluid in my pacemaker?

When I started writing code in college I knew that I picked the wrong major.

It sounds focking miserable.

When I started writing code in college I knew that I picked the wrong major.

Man, what I hated was punching all those cards. And then if they ever got out of order? Forget about it.

When I started writing code in college I knew that I picked the wrong major.

I actually took classes in fortran and cobol. :lol:

Out of curiosity, are they even used anymore?

Me too.

Worthless.

Taught myself wysiwyg back in the day and I did me a hell of a lot more good.
