++ Draft Buddy 2015 Version 1.2 - Projections Updated 9/8 ++

Recommended Posts

Draft Buddy - Year No.15 of the DB. Yes, it's been that long!

Most of you know the drill, but here are the basics...

The Draft Buddy is Excel-based fantasy football draft manager. It allows you to create customized cheatsheets for all your leagues and keeps track of your draft on Draft Day.. You can view screenshots of the program here.

System Requirements: The DB program requires a version of Microsoft Excel in order to function. The benefit of Excel is that Draft Buddy is both Windows and Mac compatible, with one exception - Microsoft lost their heads a few years ago and stripped out vital code making the DB incompatible with Mac Office 2008. The good news is, the DB does work with all other versions of Mac Office, including Mac Office 2011.

Purchase Info: You may make your purchase with your credit card through Paypal, or by check/money order.

Please make sure you are logged in with your FF Today Account BEFORE you make your purchase. It will make the purchase process much easier for you.

Login Help: If you have any trouble logging in after your purchase to download the Draft Buddy, please send us an email and we will assist you ASAP.

Product Support: Mike MacGregor and Mike Krueger will be offering tech support here at this board or you can send us an email if you have any questions. We will be happy to help!

As we've done in the past our Early Bird Price is $12.95 through July 31st ($16.95 after). Your purchase will entitle you to product updates through the start of the regular season (9/10) and get you one free entry into our $2500 DB Survivor Contest.

Get those cheatsheets created and let us know if you have any questions.

Enjoy!

Great for those taking part in #MFL10 drafts over at MyFantasyLeague. With Draft Buddy's MFL integration features you can easily update draft results.

Remember, for playing in multiple leagues, simply make a new copy of Buddy on your computer for each league.

Version 1.1 was released today. If you purchased before 6/17 we recommend you download the new file.

A few small but important bugs that slipped through initial testing have been fixed.

1. The TE rankings were missing a player (Zach Ertz).

2. The DL rankings had an error.

3. options tab - the labels in the Average Projections / Allocation Keys box weren't updated.

4. The queries to update projections in the .xls version had a conflict with old queries.

Please download the new version. Use the copy league settings on the "action" tab to copy data from Draft Buddy version 1.0, if applicable.

Not a lot of news since last week but 7/2 update is in the house! Looks like a few key players like AP and Mike Evans got a bump.

7/9 update is ready. Not a lot of changes since this time last week. Not much news! Gates down, Green up slightly. Some changes to the STL RBs and PIT receivers. Antonio moved JPP down quite a bit given all of the uncertainty about his July 4th accident.

Hello Mike,

I like the title to this thread

Draft Buddy 2015 Version 1.2 - Early Bird Special Ends Tonight!

It reminds me of the Free Beer Tomorrow sign above the bar at the local pub.

Alas I missed out on the EB special and will pay full boat for DB this year.

Worth every penny....

Question on draft buddy. I love it, but when I enter keepers every year, I still see them as available to select when I go into the summary tab to draft. Am I doing something wrong or missing a setting somewhere? Thanks.

Hi wazu. They shouldn't be showing on the summary tab (unless on your roster). Lets make sure you are inputting them right on the keepers tab. Do keepers cost a draft pick? If they do, then you need to select position, player name and draft pick given up. Then the player is copied to that pick on the draft report tab, and other tabs updated. If keepers do not cost a draft pick, then you simply select the position and player name, and you should see the player added to the rosters tab, and get marked off the cheatsheets.

Does that help? Still on the summary tab?

That did it. What I was doing was not selecting the draft pick position. I tabbed over after selecting player and the field showed up so I selected 1.01 and now it's off the sheet. Now life is perfect. Thank you!

8/20 update is ready. Goodbye Kelvin Benjamin  Hello Devin Funchess (up) and Corey/Philly Brown and Jerricho Cotchery  and even Jarrett Boykin  . Hey, stranger things have happened. Boykin was a thing once. You'll notice none are projected with great expectations by any means, so Cam is down.

Other movement: Stafford up, McCoy down, Johnny Stewart up, Abdullah up, Martellus up, Bills QB all over the place ... and who cares except Bills fans like me :wall:

Just posted an unscheduled projection update. Mike K. adjusted for Martavis Bryant and Markus Wheaton, bumped Cobb down slightly based on preliminary (i.e. not very much info) from his injury last night, plus his gut was telling him to move Forte down a bit.

Hey, did you hear Tom Brady got his suspension overturned? That makes for our second projection update in the same day. Now updated, hit Update Projections again and you should find Brady right around the 11th spot at QB give or take based on your league scoring system.

9/8 update is done! Updated projections, depth charts and ADP. Here are some notes from Mike:

Kickers... geez. With all the moves, lots of movement and player adds....

Additions to the depth chart -
K Josh Lambo, SD
K Andrew Franks, MIA
RB Thomas Rawls, SEA
RB Terron Ward, ATL
K Kyle Brindza, TB
RB Jarryd Hayne, SF

K Zach Hocker, NO - I think he was already in the depth chart, but I'll note him here just in case.

Joseph Randle, David Cobb, Brandon LaFell, Zach Ertz on the slide. Josh Robinson, James Jones on the rise. Lot's of riff-raff at the bottom removed.

And there you go. For those still drafting, good luck! Thanks to everyone for supporting Draft Buddy again this year! Have a great fantasy football season!
