Mike FF Today 607 Posted February 23, 2018 Per Adam Schefter... Chiefs are expected to trade CB Marcus Peters to the Los Angeles Rams, sources tell ESPN. Teams are in final stages of talks and barring an unexpected snag, the trade is expected to be agreed to as early as today. I think the Chiefs are most notably the owner of the team (Clark Hunt) got tired of Peters' act on and off the field this past season. House cleaning going on in KC this off-season. Frozenbeernuts 1,652 Posted February 23, 2018 Why would a team want to take on an off the field problem. It rarely ever works out
seafoam1 1,863 Posted February 23, 2018 The guy is a punk. Only 2 teams were interested in trading for him. Plus I think he is a year away from contract negotiation time. Not completely sure but maybe team options?
weepaws 2,418 Posted February 23, 2018 I think the Rams are making a good move. Should be a big benefit for them next season
cmh6476 734 Posted February 24, 2018 I think the Rams are making a good move. Should be a big benefit for them next season depends on the price. At a minimum the Chiefs should get a 1st...
weepaws 2,418 Posted February 24, 2018 If the Chiefs get a first that would be good for them, but her Rams have a good def and he will be worthy of this trade. I like the move for the Rams and for KC depending on the return.
IGotWorms 3,248 Posted February 24, 2018 Why would a team want to take on an off the field problem. It rarely ever works out Agreed. Randy moss to the Pats? But they never won a super bowl with him. Won 5 without
Mike FF Today 607 Posted February 26, 2018 Interesting we have yet to hear what the Chiefs are getting back in return?
seafoam1 1,863 Posted February 26, 2018 Interesting we have yet to hear what the Chiefs are getting back in return? I heard they got back a 4th rounder in 2018 and a second in 2019. But Rappaport said it's unofficial.
Mike FF Today 607 Posted February 26, 2018 More from Schefter... The Kansas City Chiefs will receive a 2018 fourth-round pick and a 2019 second-round pick from the Los Angeles Rams in exchange for cornerback Marcus Peters and a 2018 sixth-round pick, league sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter. Brutal Brutus 182 Posted February 26, 2018 Garbage For a head case that's going to be paid soon, I'd say it's a pretty decent return. First rounders are like gold, the 49ers landed their franchise QB and didn't even give up a first.

The Rams could just take a CB in the 1st round who would then be on a cheap 4 year contract. Expecting a 1st rounder for MPeters is irrational based on how ALL of the teams operate. weepaws 2,418 Posted February 26, 2018 Once again I say, way to go Rams. This move is a good move for them.
seafoam1 1,863 Posted February 27, 2018 A young team adding a punk and giving up a 4th and a 2nd? Not smart. Good for KC to get rid of him and get a haul. The Rams should not have done this. They have too much going for them to bring in a headache when they are on track and growing.

If they were, the Browns and Lions would be perennial SB contenders. Teams fock up 1st round picks all the time. The Bears are right there too. Always picking in the top half, yet they win about 6 games a year.

Frozenbeernuts 1,652 Posted February 27, 2018 Talking about trade value, not that they're slam dunks. Ahh ok. Amazing that they carry so much value when most teams pick an overhyped bust from a big school anyway
Smileseers 54 Posted February 28, 2018 Once again I say, way to go Rams. This move is a good move for them. I agree completely. A NFL team is not composed of the best of the best saints. Marcus Peters is a young prove All Pro top 5 CB. His crimes are not getting along with coaches, picking up a flag and throwing it into the stands. Andy Reid has always had teams that lacked discipline. I wish the Steelers traded their #1 for him. Way to go Rams.
