Brandon Marshall

Recommended Posts

I was able to grab Marshall in the 8th round (#75 overall). I know he's out for the first 2-3 games, but I think that getting him in the 8th round could be a steal. What do you think?

I took him 7th round in a 10 teamer after drafting T.O. and Fitz.

I grabbed him in round 7 in a 12 teamer. I also picked up Javon Walker in round 11. I'm hoping for big things for both after the first quarter of the season.

Was able to grab Fitz and Chambers in the earlier rounds.

I agree, he's a huge steal in the 7th. In the 5th even.

I picked him at at 4.1, pick #31 in my 10 teamer.

He was the first WR to go after the tier drop-off after TJ, Colston and Smitty.

He went just before Welker and Oucho-cinco (pre-injury).

He's my WR1.

I got him for $4 in my auction keeper league

If I want to keep him next year it would cost me $9 to keep him, with $100 to start. I like my chances of keeping him with my crappy team I drafted!

5.03 in a 10 team league to go with Santonio Holmes and Marques Colston (start 3 WRs). If he could some how walk away with a 1 game suspension, I love my WR group.

nothing to see here. pay no attention to the man behind the suspension curtain.

i still have two drafts to go, please delay the suspension decision until then

I cannot believe the bargains some of you got. I am admittedly a Broncos homer, but Marshall was a 100 catch receiver last year with an up and coming QB throwing him the ball and a defense that assures the Broncos will have to put the ball in the air.

I got Marshall in both my drafts. One with the 38th pick overall and the other with pick #52 overall, neither of which I feel is an overpayment. My big auction draft is coming up and I hope to grab Marshall on the cheap.

4.11

I really wanted him, but I got greedy and took Calvin Johnson at 4.09 because there was a Lion homer sitting behind me and I thougt Marshall would slide back to me at 5.03. Would rather have Marshall than CJ........

That was the one pick in my draft that I had any reservations about. I had taken Brees in the 2nd round and was going for my #1 WR in the third. I was hoping for Fitzgerald but he went two in front of me. I let myself think too much about having two #1 players from the same team (bad logic) and chose Marshall over Colston (#32 overall). We'll see if it comes back to bite me in the ass.

I picked 12th in a 12 team league and went M. Barber, Romo - the Marshall, Steve Smith at the round 3-4 turn. Its a PPR League and Jenning and Cotchery were the next best recievers.

In my league the 1st 2 games are out of division games used mostly as tie breakers so I will just take an ass beating the 1st 2 weeks.

12 team redraft: 3.10 (by me). This year's draft was weird; Brady, Peyton, Romo, Brees & Palmer were gone by the end of the 2nd round, and after I took Gore & Lynch w/ my first 2 picks, the WR run was on in a big way. BUT, the guys who took WR's in the 1st or 2nd rounds "settled" for minimal upside-type RBs in the 3rd Rd. By the time my 3rd round pick came, I really felt I needed to go WR before the potential top 15-type guys were all gone, so I took BM. I followed-up by taking Santonio Holmes at 4.03

8th round? LOL! I know the guy has problems but he can still be a solid #2 WR in most leagues.

I couldn't believe I got him there. Nick Folk went 4 picks ahead of where I got Marshall.

In my last 3 drafts (all 12 team redraft leagues) he went 3.12 / 5.12 / 4.11

I got Marshall at #50 overall (5.02) in a 12 team redraft...and I thought that was a steal. 8th round is ridiculously good IMO. 2 games...so what? Championships are not won in those two games.

I thought it was good pick at the time. These responses are making me feel even better about it.

Yeah, well when you're drafting with people who are taking kickers in the 8th round...

Marshall fell because morons were doubling up on kickers and a second defense.

4.10 46th overall.

I took Calvin at 4.06 42nd overall.

I got Marshall at 5.4 (44th) and Calvin at 6.7 (57th) in a 10-teamer.
