leftyguitar 0 Posted August 16, 2006 Okay, here's the situation. We're heading into the 5th round of our offline draft. My pick is up shortly. So far, I have Tomlinson and Westbrook for RBs, and Holt and Wayne for WR's. Who should I try to snag with my next pick? (I'm drafting in the 4th spot, so after this pick, I'll have to wait a while for my next one. I want to make this one really count.) Here are the players already selected broken down by position. Our league is NOT a ppr, breakdown is 1pt for every 10yds recieving / rushing, 6 for recieve / rush TDs. QB points are 1 per 25 yards, 4 per thrown TD, -2 per INT. (-2 for fumbles lost for everyone.) Who's my best bet? Leave me a link to your question and I'll answer as best as I can! PLAYERS ALREADY DRAFTED: QBs Peyton Manning Tom Brady Matt Hasselbeck Kurt Warner Jake Delhomme RBs Sean Alexander Larry Johnson Ladainian Tomlinson* Clinton Portis Edgerrin James Tiki Barber Rudi Johnson Steven Jackson Lamont Jordan Ronnie Brown Julius Jones Brian Westbrook* Cadillac Williams Dominic Davis Willy Parker Willis McGahee Reggie Bush Deshaun Foster Chester Taylor WRs Steve Smith Chad Johnson Terrell Owens Marvin Harrison Larry Fitzgerald Anquin Boldin Torry Holt* Santana Moss Chris Chambers Hines Ward Randy Moss Javon Walker Reggie Wayne* TEs Antonio Gates Jeremy Shockey Thanks for your help! Bottles 0 Posted August 16, 2006 Ok it's sort of hard to pick based on who's not there, and not knowing exactly what pick you have/number of teams but.. McNabb is there...a tad early. Heap.... a tad early J. Lewis/Warrick Dunn would be solid RB3s.... But I think the best bets are Roy Williams or Plaxico Burress. These are third round guys, and while WRs are deep, and there are plenty of quality WR3s to be had in later rounds, I believe these two guys ar WR2s and a solid tier above your alternative in the next round. enoto 0 Posted August 16, 2006 I say top QB (Eli, Bledsoe.....) TE (Heap) top avail RB I would say QB since top 2 RB are solid unless you want depth at RB for Trade bait I think there will be a bigger drop at TE or maybe QB, if you wait long on them, then WR3. It looks like there COULD be a run on TE's and QB's soon based on how few have been taken so far.
