ssharpe12 0 Posted August 16, 2006 I drafted joe horn and I have been offered a trade that will give me dieon branch for him. Would you accept this trade, or stay with horn I am personally torn. Brees still has to prove his shoulder is 100%, branch is the clear #1 in NE, Horn is on the down side of his carreer, but it would be nice to see what he could do when he has a QB better then Brooks throwing to him. thanks Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Horn is a bust candidate this year, fighting injuries, getting over the hill = big risk, also has a new QB/ lack of chemistry concerns. Branch is in a contract year and is a primary target for Brady. I know NE spreds it around but DB will see plenty of yardage and scoring opps once the contract issue is handled. The issue will get handled, don't worry about it. Branch isn't sitting out this year.
