Went to this tour in KC it was called The Black & Blue Tour,actually took a full Sabbath ticket I had from '78 and doctored the date and got in with it.Still have the stub in a frame where you can see how I changed the date.

I no longer go to concerts that cost more than $20

 

In the 70's & 80's concerts used to cost less than the album / CD, and that seemed right. :thumbsup:

I saw Kiss at the Centrum in Jan '83. Jan 22 was a Sat night, that must've been the show I went to.

 

Those numbers for the Worcester Centrum show include some people who had purchased tickets to the show in Providence, which was cancelled due to poor ticket sales. If you had a ticket to the Providence show the promoter provided free bus transportation from Providence to Worcester. The day I went to purchase tickets to the Providence show was the day that the show was cancelled.

But in reality like the rest of the music business, the artist gets only a small fraction of the money. And yeah, if idiots are willing to pay thousands for front row seats, then those same idiots are the problem for the average concert goer.
