wiffleball 4,617 Posted December 15, 2017 If you haven't seen it, I highly recommend it. The original, 1967, the year I was born. Quite possibly one of the best screen couples of all time. And one of the best actors of his generation all came together for that movie. It seems to me, that our resentments weren't so deep back then because our conversations were far more honest. It is both ridiculous and sad that today so many decades later we claim to be so much more enlightened and all I can think of watching this movie is how this could never make it to the theaters in this day & age. I thought earlier that this should be required viewing 4 school-age Kids. But then I came to the sick realization that parents would scream and teachers would most likely be fired. It's a good thing we are so much more enlightened these days. If we get any more enlightened, we might just start ripping each other's throats out.
