Like MDC I have always been a 5 supporter but as I said for the offseason needs a few months ago, its time to move on. Kolb needs to be given the chance to play and if he cant then back to finding another guy. To get us back to an upper echelon team we need to get Peppers and a player like Earl Thomas in the draft. If the rumors are right about McNabb then maybe we get lucky and can get a guy who falls to the 2nd round who shoudnt have with the top pick in the 2nd. and for god's sake please just dump Vick for a 5th at this point, It was one thing to have to deal with this moron on our team but if he ever started for us I may have to go out looking for another team

why i have hope for McCoy... Yes McCoy is small but everyone said that the same thing about Westbrook in 2002. Westbrook barely played in 2002 and then broke loose in a part time three headed monster with Buckhalter and Staley in 2003. McCoy is already light years ahead of Westbrook's career arc If the kid picks up some pointers on better blocking then he will be okay... I still think that he wont be a goal line guy but will be good for 2010 numbers of 1050 rush 7 scores 350 rec 2 scores

Peterson because you have the 10th pick in the 1st round....there is no equivelant player and the risk of losing out is offset by the difference from him to Benson In this way you have two backs who are likely to be top 5 picks in re-drafts WR and QB can be found in later rounds. Its worth the loss of the 1st

Pull the trigger...if you were at #1 it may be different but the Bengals have moved to a power running team and none of the guys for 2010 are Peterson or even the hype of Bush or McFadden

My Eagles goner list: McNabb (ive been a huge supporter but its time to move on) Vick (Squeeze wasnt worth the juice) Westbrook (if he takes a pay significant pay cut I would reconsider) Shawn Andrews (signed Justice to an extension, what to expect from this piece of slop, his brother gets the axe next year) Reggie Brown Juquae Parker Chris Gocong Quentin Demps Kevin Curtis I really dont like Foku and Macho Harris but they are only rookies so give them 2010. My to do list: Inquire about what it will take to get Julius Peppers (though Im not giving a 1st for him) Get a play making safety, Berry wont be around for us but Mays might be in the 1st Draft for Defense the way we drafted for offense last season. Im mostly okay with the linebackers as Bradley will be back next season, Akeem Jordan played well when healthy and Witherspoon is a quality player but not the difference maker he was in game one with us. If another LB gets added it wont be the worst thing in the world...it would be nice if we could stick Witten, Boss or Cooley at anytime.

If it were PPR I would go with the 2 backs but since its not go with Rice and Jackson. He will still get the yardage necessary for you and he gets the bonus scores.

Keep the 5 other than Marshall...too much risk compared to the others and if you can do that deal so much the better. I liked Rice when he was drafted and thought that he may eventually turn into what he is but if you have to make the decision soon without knowing about Favre I would make the Wayne deal

Fullback...Check Get OL Younger at the Edges...Check Add TE depth....Check RB Depth/Heir to 36...Check Add Playmaker for 5....Check They solidified the secondary with Hobbs, Sean Jones was a decent ballhawk with close to the line ability..we will have to see. This team has set itself up to be a playoff contender still for the next 5 years with this offseason...the only fly in the ointment could be if Kolb cant play (which I dont think he can) Other than the Dawkins debacle I cant complain. Sheldon is a 30 year old corner who wont get anymore base salary from anyone else as he is getting this season from the Eagles. He is a good but not great player who has been beaten by bigger WR for years.
