If you had to choose one condiment to go with your meals for the rest of your life

I dont buy butter as a condiment but even if I did, what do you put it on? Bread, seafood, popcorn ...? Lack of versatility is an issue.

Bulletproof.

 

I'm doing a 3 week crash diet that penultimate recommended.

 

- coffee and kerrygold butter for breakfast

- iced green tea for lunch

- about 16 oz chicken with fresh green chile for dinner

- vodka on the rocks until I pass out

 

So far so good, 8 days in and I'm down one belt hole.

Butter is only a condiment when being spread on something after it's cooked. It doesn't count if it's just an ingredient you're cooking with.

That's an interesting list. I guess I'd say:

 

Things I almost never eat: pancakes/waffles, muffins, oatmeal, grits

Things I do eat that don't need butter: steak, green beans, peas, asparagus, pasta

 

That leaves corn (maybe I have this 2x a year?) and potatoes, only one style of which (baked) truly needs butter.

No condiment is truly needed.

 

Ive often eaten burgers, brats and hot dogs plain and I always eat French fries without ketchup.

 

I like hot sauce on my omelettes

and tacos but I can live without it.

 

Cold Sanwiches are a different story. I usually gotta have some mayo, pesto or oil and vinegar.

The hands down winner is Toum. It's a Lebanese Garlic Sauce. This shiot is fantastic.

No condiment is truly needed.

 

Ive often eaten burgers, brats and hot dogs plain and I always eat French fries without ketchup.

 

I like hot sauce on my omelettes

and tacos but I can live without it.

 

Cold Sanwiches are a different story. I usually gotta have some mayo, pesto or oil and vinegar.

Sandwiches I use mustard.

 

Eggs, Mexicans can and chicken take hot sauce.

 

I dont put butter on anything but baked potatoes and bread.
