Week 15 WR Scoop and Play

Recommended Posts

Well thanks to my man Brian Turn on Your Hartlines heroic 14.6 pt effort prior to breaking his collar bone it advanced me to the semi's. Of course since he was my WR3 and is now on IR I need another scoop for week 15 to get me to championship. I need a WR and a Flex for my duct tape and glue semi finals squad. My options for 2 are:

-Ginn v NYG who is my obvious preferred pick up but may not get him

-Kearse v CLE who with it Rawls they are gonna air it out and he could definitely get a good stat line line

-Jeremy Butler v KC top WR in targets and yards for Balt

-Robert Woods v WASH who can always drop 100 yds in your lap

Any other scoops someone can suggest

Tyler Lockett has been getting more targets than Kearse and producing nice numbers as well With Rawls out, I'm also thinking Seattle airs it out. Also add that Cleveland's top DB Haden is out for the year so this matchup screams blowout thru the air.

Don't think Seahawks have much choice but to let Wilson air it out . Will be interesting to see what happens with the Hawks not having a rb they can trust .

I'm really hoping people chase some of these backup RBs and Ginn and Kearse slip to me so I can plug both those guys in the lineup. At this point with all the injuries I feel like I'm playing DFS with these shots in the dark. Thank god I have ODB and Allen Robinson as the WR1 and WR2

I like the Butler pick a lot!

Just to throw out something for deeper league pickups.

Seth Roberts Oak WR, has seen an increased role the past few weeks with 7,4,5 targets, and I think he could be utilized heavily this week with Dom Capers tendency to send extra guys to rush the QB. This 2nd year WR has the measureables being 6'2" and running a 4.4 40. I think there will be some points scored in this game, and i wouldn't be surpirsed if Roberts became a bigger part of the offense due to their success the past 3 games when he has seen more of the field. He's only owned in 3% of leagues so he should still be out there if you are desperate.

I think KC is going to eat Balts lunch

I am thinking of rolling Alex Smith over FitzMagic bc of that juicy Baltimore matchup and Fitz is playing the Cowboys D which has been pretty decent vs the pass this year

I somehow got Kearse and Ginn and Woods off waivers. I imagine bc most other teams were locked. Was actually quite happy as sad as that sounds

Tyler Lockett is someone I scooped and I am going to play over DEZ. lockett has scored 72 points over the last 4 weeks in my league. Dez

has scored 36.

I would not start A Smith over R Fitzpatrick .

If Johnson and Inman are out again this week, I think Floyd has some value. He got 9 targets last week and was one drop away from a big week and now he gets a porous Miami defense

I picked up Lockett, Snead and Ginn. I plan on playing at least 2 of them. I'm sitting Cooper this week a don't really have any other decent receivers.

Seattle's weather is supposed to be quite awful so those deep balls may not be so easy this week...

Plus if they get up big early they should just run it with Bryce in the slop and move on to the next game as healthy as possible...

How about Rishard Matthews? He is practicing this week and may play. He was pretty solid this year when playing

Both Floyd and Matthews are solid calls for a thin week

Tight end is a crapshoot

Robert woods if Clay is out vs WASH or Jermaine Kearse v CLE at home? Seattle is gonna air it out all game

Or it may be your talent evaluation skills do

He hasn't been a premium play

Malcolm Floyd blows. Hasn't done anything but be mediocre. He also runs the rate of getting hurt first play of game and giving you a goose egg

In the last 10 weeks he has 2 double digit games

For those who need a emergency flier I can see the dice roll if one is desperate, that's about it

I would actually start Inman over Floyd. The only reason I'm debating it is bc it's the last game ever in SD at Qualcomm for Rivers so he is gonna wanna score some points

Maybe Wheaton with brown/Bryant covered by Talib/Harris? Though I couldn't tell you if the 3rd wr has done anything against Denver all year. I figure most teams aren't as talented at wr anyway so this could work.

With Green Bay's corner Sam Shields out, the Oakland passing game could excel this weekend!

This is pretty intriguing

Ginn is boom or bust, had only 3 targets last week, but luckily turned two of them into 120 yds and 2-TDs. Of course, he did the same the week before. Still not sure I would trust him in the playoffs.

Malcolm Floyd is no HOFer but w/ Stevie J. out and MIA probably slinging it (shootout?) isn't it fair to think that Rivers will want to throw some extra passes Floyd's way since Floyd is retiring and this could be SD's final game at Qualcomm? Both of these DEFs are terrible.
