Probably countless but most are buried in mud. I dive in 40 to 70 feet of water along the east coast. I look for deep spots in the Inter-coastal and just dive down. Most of the time there is nothing there but if I hit a good spot I can find teeth for years as the currents move sand and mud around all the time. I run into things like blue crabs, sting rays and fish all the time. It is so muddy that you can not see what is there, It is worth it every time you find a big Meg tooth. It is crazy fun.
