It isn't just you guys... I have been commissioner of a fantasy football league since 1996 that I am probably going to leave this year as well... It isn't because of bad results as I finished second this past season and won it all the previous year... Just not really into it any more...

No worries, posty. I've cut back over the past few years myself. I only stay in long time leagues like this one. work leagues and the like. I might also dabble in an autodraft for short $ here and there, but that's about it. I've just been in this league forever and can't imagine leaving it. I hope that you'll swing by and comment on our draft (assuming we move forward) and to say hi. We aren't the most chatty group once the season starts, but the few weeks we meet for the draft have been a blast every season...

I have tried to reach Foul Line a few times now, with no luck. If anyone knows him personally, please reach out.

 

At this stage, it looks like we'll need to replace at least two more, possibly 3 if Foul Line remains AWOL.

You won 2 years ago (in your first year) and always provide for a fun draft with all of the trade offers. Good to have you back!

 

OK, we now have 10, so we at least have a minimum.

 

Varga will return if a small stake gets approved. Need to scavenge up at least one more to hit the 12 mark, though. Will give it a few more days to see how votes and recruiting shakes out. We'll need to get a move on after that though. Still need to get orphaned teams assigned to new owners, lock in keeper selections and do the draft order selections before we can get things cooking on the draft itself.

OK, we are getting really close to being able to move things forward.

 

Hopefully, White Wonder is going to join us (please confirm). Always great to get a new member who comes with the endorsement of another manager! My thanks for Gratefulted for the recruiting mission! :-)

 

Assuming WW is onboard, we are down to one open question at this stage.

 

I need Foul Line to weigh in on the fee/prizes question. If he's in, Varga is in as well and we have 12. If he's out, we'll need to recruit 1 more as a Varga replacement. If anyone knows Foul Line personally, please reach out. He's a hard man to get a hold of!

Looks that way - the only major change, pending a Foul Line reply, is whether we add in a prize pool or not.
