    Jermichael Finley

I think he's becoming a little more mature, but I think he still struggles with the mental part of the game. Rodgers can give a look to Jennings, Driver, or Jordy and know that they are thinking what he is thinking. I don't think Finley is capable of that kind of subtlety. He works like crazy on the physical part of his game, but I don't think he puts as much time in the playbook and on improving as a tactician. He's the classic athlete who relies completely on his physical gifts and thus doesn't reach his full potential. And I don't think Rodgers trusts him. I've seen Rodgers on several occassions have to redirect him to where he's supposed to be prior to the snap and often he doesn't run the proper route. On one of his TDs he was actually blocking in the endzone and then turned around to fine the ball coming his way. He thought it was a run play. On the INT to Urlacher, he was running up the field when Rodgers was expecting him to keep running sideways. He might be a better fantasy TE on another team.

Top 5 seasons of all time

Don't you know that football didn't begin until they started playing Superbowls?

I don't think Aikman is better than Warner, and I tend to agree with you about Aikman being overrated. But the teams he's QB'd have been winners every year, and right or wrong, QBs are judged on wins and championships. If you win multiple championships, you're going to get in. Hmmm. That's actually about the only difference. Aikman averages a 9-7 record over his career, certainly not better than Warner. And Warren Moon is in with barely a .500 record and no championships. It seems like he got in on longevity and Aikman got in on championships. Yeah, I guess there's a very good chance Warner is a HOFer now that I look at it a little deeper.

Where I was right or wrong?

There are people who STILL think TT made the wrong decision? Really? Wow!

Ah. Missed that about the extra wins. Still, that's a far cry from the Favre, Elways, Marinos, Aikman's, etc. Certainly there are a lot of guys in the hall of fame with a relatively brief prime, but most of them are old timers. I just think it's harder now. Chris Carter still isn't in. Shannon Sharpe somehow wasn't a first ballot HOFer. Gone are the days when Joe Namath and Paul Hornung types were good enough it seems. Warner was amazing for 3 years, then had a lot of so-so injury plagued years, and then finished fairly strong. That he was a great guy and great in the postseason should help, though. He might get in, but probably not on the first ballot.

I'm not sure 57 regular season wins gets you into the HOF, even with his postseason accomplishments, but he'd be in the "good guy" hall of fame for sure. Wherever he played was my 2nd favorite team. Good luck on your future, Kurt!
  7. Ask those who took that advice against Revis this year how that worked out for them.

My trade got vetoed and I am pissed!

Not that you don't have a right to be upset over a bogus veto, but you might have avoided this problem had you offered a more equitable trade in the first place.

    Packers look good

    Rodgers

Well, it's only preseason, but he did most of that without Greg Jennings, too.

    Rodgers

Unless your league only has 8 teams in it, I think that's probably a good idea.
  12. Jeremy

    The Packers look incredible

The defense might not be quite as strong as they've shown in the preseason, but that offense is the real deal.

    Jermicheal Finley

Shhhhh. This guy is the best kept secret out there. Or was before tonight.
