The promise to revisit healthcare was one of the very few things I liked about Trump. Of course the problem is it was never about trying to improve healthcare or the lot of average Americans. It was just about being able to say they struck down something called "Obamacare", no matter how bad the alternative, and file that notch off the Dem's bedpost.

Well yeah...the polling is out there on how many support the ACA and how the same people polled that number drops dramatically to those who support Obamacare.

I love that's the last 48 hours, every other story is about Tillerson calling Trump a moron. And then Tillerson refusing to deny he ever said that.

Apparently, the other thing that drives Trump nuts is when he says something stupid and he's looking for Tillerson to agree and in a room crowded with people Tillerson just kind of look at him and goes well, that's your deal...

It's got to be tough for Tillerson to hide his contempt. Here we have an actual legitimate CEO. Versus whatever the f*** Trump is.

I think pretty much the only reason Tillerson isnt gone right now is because they're supposed to go to China pretty soon. And it's pretty widely reported that every country in that region respects Tillerson and things Trump is just either a lunatic and or a moron.

You can be sure that is absolutely killing Trump.

Can't wait for all the books to come out once this ass hole is out of office. Tillerson's should be awesome. Other than his family, I wonder if there's one single person in the administration who actually likes the guy.

There's a book that just came out co-authored by like 3 dozen psychiatrist. They pretty much dig into everything Trump has displayed so far. I'd hate to ruin the ending for you.

His symptoms are so obvious I'm pretty sure it could be funded by Trump himself and they'd still have to worry about the professional reputations enough to deem that this guy is seriously f***** in the head.

I wish he drank. At least you can sober up from that s***.

The scariest thing? This is just the stuff that we can witness day today. Like someone else said, I bet The Insider books that ultimately come out will be amazing.

Funny you should say that. A lot of folks that knew Trump for years are saying he's really changed. That he maybe used to spout "trump" a lot, but he was 'in' on the joke. Kinda like "Hey, I'm a big deal (wink, rolls eyes)". But now, he apparently believes it. They're saying that he'd settle down after the election - remember - "I'm going to be the MOST Presidential ever!" comment?

- But instead, with all the pressure and realizing that he's not 'King' he''s losing it.

I think it's because he's such an egomaniac and narcisist. As someone born rich, it was easy for him to surround himself with yes-men and simply firing anyone who wasn't willing to give him the adoration that he demands and that his thin skinned ego needs.

Now, he's seeing how people really see him. The SNL/late night parodies, the news panels mocking him and making fun of his childish tweets, hearing about all his legislative failures... it has to be maddening to an insecure narcissist like him. That is why he is still holding campaign rallies. The guy won the election a year ago. And he still having campaign rallies. He needs to assemble groups of people who adore him and buy into his bullshit. And more importantly, are blind to how inept he is. He would probably be suicidal if he didn't still have those rallies.

But to sum it up, yes. He is losing it.

My point was that Trump is playing the media like a fiddle. They are so involved in discrediting him and pushing fake social they are missing the big picture. While they are chasing Russians, worrying about the calm before the storm, what shoes the First Lady is Wearing, etc. he is moving on with his agenda.

As you can see the board Lefties are proving my point.

Bottom lining it; Despite controlling both houses, trump hasn't passed a single significant piece of legislation. His cabinet is in shambles, hundreds of key jobs are still unfilled, and he and his are kneck deep in investigations.

Or, as his own secretary of state says, Trump is a f****** moron.

It's the very definition of the word spin. 3/4 of the key members of the administration had already either quit or had to be replaced.. Worst approval ratings in our country's history. One failure after another, and a new reason for our country to be embarrassed every week.. Yet his supporters spin it to somehow try to make it seem like hes successful. That is straight from the Donald Trump Handbook.

Number 56 is interesting. The one piece of legislation that passed this year? The one that I was bitching the loudest about and nobody seem to understand? The one piece of legislation that passed this year of any significance is that Trump now allows data companies to sell literally every piece of data about you that's online to the highest bidder. Banking, Medical, family any kind of History any kind of data. I guess he want to make it easier on the Russians. It's one thing to surreptitiously gather data like the NSA does. Trump made it publicly legal to do the same kind of crime.

Found the book I referenced:

https://www.psychologytoday.com/blog/the-time-cure/201709/the-dangerous-case-donald-trump

It would be interesting to read just from a purely clinical perspective; Seeing what family members have gone through, you pick up on a lot of things with Trump too.

One of the more interesting things is just his manner of speech - It's basically 'free word association' - with little or no coherent beginning, middle or end. Another way of thinking of it is - his asides have their own asides and so on. If you pour through transcripts of his interviews, they are rife with entire sections that at best are labelled (unintelligible).

I saw that with my Mom - and brain injury survivors I've volunteered with. It's a form of aphasia - in this case, the emotion is travelling in the fast lane, while the cognitive section of the brain is working at a much slower, methodical, plodding pace.

That's a pretty clear manifestation of a brain whose synapses are firing, but not necessarily in any rational order. A bit like a cacophony of random voices in a crowd rather than a symphony if you will.

Also, the ability to hold onto a single thread of thought - usually emotion-based - but unable to absorb or retain anything that 'muddles' that single thread. A lot like when you're REALLY trying to focus on one thing - and you yell out / become irrationally angry at other voices or noises in the immediate area.

So, for example, when Trump yells out "FAKE NEWS!" - He's really manifesting that - He is genuinely focusing on one narrative with the fervency of a drowning man on a life preserver. - Even the slightest wave would cause that man to lash out.

Anyway, interesting to read how all these doctors had to struggle between professional ethics and a higher calling toward the good of the country. - Just as they would struggle with an individual patient's privacy vs. any potential threat he/she might pose to society at large.
