    Andre Johnson

Considering only two WRs in the history of the NFL have had 20+ TD seasons, I think your potential comment is a heck of a stretch. Hell, it's debatable if the HOU passing offense has the potential for 20 passing TDs total, let alone to AJ by himself.

    Yahoo.com commissioners

I'm doing something about it... I'm whining about not owning him because someone blocked my waiver request to pick him up.

    2001 Priest Holmes

TO is out for 2-4 weeks and Donte Stallworth looks to be a huge asset to philly's offense... I wouldn't be too ecstatic about that trade...

***** The Officia What Do You Need On MNF *****

I need Jeff Reed to get my 8 pts and any 8 pts... I'm hoping for a 40+ FG, a 30+FG, and an XP... Steelers win 13-10!

    Coles.. just wow

I got coles in the 9th as well... to serve as a #4 to Harrison, Horn, and Houshmanzadeh... looks like i'm lucky enough to play matchups. BTW, i thought his catch and run for the first down on the drive after his TD catch was equally as impressive.

    Marques Colston

In my experience with Yahoo!, the position designation remains stable if you have the player on your roster... but, the designation can change if he is a free agent. Is this correct? Anyone else have the opposite experience?

    to all LJ owners...

    1. It's been one week 2. Green will be back within 2-3 weeks 3. He still had 148 combined yards... add a TD to that and he's the top back in my league for the week. I really think there is nothing to worry about.

    What is LJ worth?

    1. Defenses already put 8-9 in the box to stop LJ, with little to no success. 2. Green will be back soon, just a concussion. 3. LJ *STILL* had 148 total yards, even though the Chiefs were behind by over 2 TDs for most of the game. Add one TD to that total and he's the top RB for the week. 4. Anyone ditching LJ after solid, yet unspectacular, week is an idiot. 5. I'm glad I have him.

    Stupid league rule change

We have an outside group of trade reviewers... basically, just friends that know fantasy football but aren't in the league. They don't have any self interest, so it works well...

    Trade LJ/Harrison for Charlie Batch

The other threads are now confirming that Batch should have a stranglehold on the starting job in PIT by mid season!!! Championship here I come!!! (By the way, i predicted that Batch would be the PIT starter by mid-season in my super-sleeper-top-secret projections that i did in March... they were so top-secret, I couldn't post them... but trust me, I CALLED IT!)
  12. A guy in my league picked up Charlie Batch before i could get him! He offered me Batch for LJ&Harrison and i'm going to pull the trigger... what should i do! HLEP!!!!!1!!1! And please rate my team!!! QB: Borat RB: LJ (got him at pick 43!!!!) RB: Stephen Davis WR: Marvin Harrison (keeper) WR: Wes Welker (waiver wire baby!!!) WR: Stuart Scott TE: Heath Miller (OMG!!1!)

    Miami got robbed!

My favorite horrible reffing sequence from last night was the blown PI call on the deep ball to Cedric, followed 5 min later (on the next drive) by the make-up PI call on the uncatchable ball thrown near the endzone (i forget the WR)...

****the official - Nick Saban is a Putz thread****

Easy there Wizbang, i was just trying to point out that he shouldn't have tried to sneak the flag onto the field like that so close to the time of the snap. He should take a page from Cowher's book... Cowher makes a production out of throwing the flag, with a full happy gilmore run up into a pitcher's windup, ending with a long heave. I never said that he shouldn't have gotten the review... obviously the refs blew the call. That said, is it the ref's responsibility to be watching Nick Saban to see if he'll throw a flag? Or, should they instead be watching the pre-snap play for false starts, illegal substitutions, illegal formations, too many men on the field, etc.? Should we have a ref dedicated to watching to see if a red flag gets thrown onto the field? In my mind, it is the Head Coach's job to make sure that the refs see the red flag. Saban just shouldn't mess around with calling for a review like that.

He threw the flag maybe 2 seconds before the snap went off... you're telling me that the dolphin's booth didn't have time to see a replay and tell him to throw the flag right away? BS. He shouldn't have beeen a numbnuts and waited that long... i guess he learned the hard way. Plus, this is the first time in years without the button that this has happened... every other coach in the league seems to do alright.
