Is he worth a waiver claim in your opinion? I'd drop Sammy Watkins. Standard scoring league.

 

My other starting wr's are ty Hilton, tyrell Williams and Michael Thomas. Even if I don't start could be nice off the bench to play matchup or just to keep off an opponents roster.

I think so. I haven't looked at the Pats' schedule, but as someone pointed out earlier this week, he has both Brady and Belichick's trust and Gronk is out...so, there is a lot to like there.

For bench players I look for upside. I think Wakins has more upside than Mitchell.

 

Kelvin Benjamin is not very good, so adding Mitchell for KBen is justifiable.

I put a claim in for him and lost, but I'm not too sad because I also have Edelman. I don't see a scenario where I start both and feel comfortable. Brady has a history of falling off at the end of the year stats wise.

I've been mulling this over. Should I cut SAMMY for Malcolm? With Woods coming back, SAMMY isn't the only fish over there, plus SAMMY is an injury waiting to happen. Malcolm has the great Brady tossing to him and without Gronk around should get his targets 7-10. He seems pretty good. Still, should I give up SAMMY?

I have both Watkins and Kelvin Benjamin and I'm benching them both this week and we start 4 WRs and my WR core isn't even the strength of my team and I'm 12-1 and total points leader by a wide margin, but I still would not pick up Mitchell, he's fools gold.

I don't agree, i don't think he's fools gold, but I don't think he's going to be consistent. I would have picked him up just to keep him out of other lineups, but I'm not sure I would start him.

He's still available, but no one on my roster I want to drop for him. I can't let any player on bench get onto someone else's roster either.

I would drop both Watkins and K Benjamin for Mitchell at this point.

 

Mitchell in a ppr setting has out scored Benjamin 56-24 last three games.

 

And Watkins is mr fools gold.

 

Guy can stay healthy enough to tie his own shoes.
