legalizing weed...we sure?

Recommended Posts

ok so it basically cures everything from autism to cancer to ADD to depression and alzheimers. latest i think i read it cured a blind guy. also can build recyclable houses that withstand hurricanes and ozone repairing clothes with hemp too. and i think it powers small cars now as well.

cool. and taxing it will fix all our debt problems. alright go ahead.

BUT are we ready for the fact that the ever growing number of retarded people i encounter on a daily basis will increase ten fold and actually become more idiotic? or does it make people smarter too? i don't think we can withstand making our population any more retarded. :(

Living in a state where it's legal I've said this before, I would not be a bartender here.

For the ten people who still don't know this, todays shiit is eons ahead of the twigs and leaves that we did as kids.

I've been with women who had literally two drinks but went out with their weird-ass vape pen for a smoke and after two drinks? They were completely Blotto.

As a bartender, you kind of have to be able to cover your ass by saying look how he served or two drinks. But damn, those women can go out and drive and kill a family of five and your ass is on the line.

No thank you please. It only makes me sneeze.

And oddly enough? When you legalize pot? You bring a crapload of homeless potheads to town. Who'da thunk that?

We should make Alcohol illegal. Will cut homeless drunks and DUI arrests in half instantly.

In 2015, 10,265 people died in alcohol-impaired driving crashes, accounting for nearly one-third (29%) of all traffic-related deaths in the United States.

In 2015 over 200 children under the age of 14 were killed by drunk drivers.

Tell you what, go compare stats with Oman or Dubai versus Florida or Texas.

Two countries we should definitely strive to be like...

I've said it before, but I really don't understand how anyone can function when high. I know people do it as I've seen it with my own eyes.

But there's just no focking way I could concentrate enough to drive, work or even buy munchies from 7-11. That sh!t turns me into Spicoli's retarded cousin.

In addition to marijuana prolly being the miracle answer to countless ailments - I can think of several things more destructive and damaging than weed.

Yes vote here.

We should stop with the "marijuana cures XYZ" because it focking doesn't. Can't we just say that people should be able to make the choice as to whether or not to smoke pot without lying about it curing cancer, aids, gout, ED, and baldness? Fockin A.

Same here. Many of my college buddies went to class, kicked ass in foosball, and held down jobs while high. I am not one of those people. I also will never touch the stuff again. If it turns people dumber though, It's not harmful enough to be illegal

I think the same people that are doing it now are going to do it regardless. I also read that Colorado reported the lowest teen use with marijuana in the nation (not sure if its true) if it is it makes sense, take the taboo away and kids dont want to do it.

It makes sense from an economic standpoint. Prices of weed have dropped a ton due to competition and anyone that had a big enough operation went legit. Those legit people don't want to risk their business by selling to kids, and those that aren't legit don't make enough money to live because of the reduced prices.

Amen. The cause loses credibility when people spout pseudoscientific panacea nonsense.

It’s Ok to want to get high. And research legitimate medicinal MJ use.

I dont know if it actually cures anything, but it can certainly make you care a whole lot less about your ailments.

The last time I had poison ivy I would shower right after work, then lather up with topical stuff and get drunk

The alcohol effectively overtook the itching sensation enough for me to get some sleep.

As a former stoner and soon to be re-stoner once legal in my state, MJ gives smart people more ideas. However, you may not remember them later on. I can't comment on what it does to retards like SloTard. Can't imagine any synapses in his illogical, mushy like a rotten pumpkin, brain would benefit.

Yea I wouldn't say it's a cure all.....but there is too much research out there that says it does help lessen symptoms and stuff.

My aunt has MS - hard to dismiss the benefits it has provided to some.... I think Parkinson's too.

Not dumb... I just assumed that pizza pizza pizza nights and eggs benedict were fueled by something more than coors light.

I'll admit ignorance but isn't the legal stuff in shops a fair amount more expensive than your average street price

I have no idea personally but from what I've been told it started off that way when it was just medical. Once it was approved recreationally prices tanked as there was so much supply competing for the demand.

Like I said didnt know if it was true. It was some random article I read a few years back. Did just do some research though and marijuana use in teens is at an all time low in a 20 year period.

Stoners

When I did smoke back in college I always had a much bigger problem with the alcoholics. We would always make all our classes and get our stuff done, it was the party all night drinkers that struggled.

The drug war has been arguable the biggest waste of $$$ for as long as can remember. It hasn't amounted to anything. Legalize all drugs is what I say. That's extra tax revenue and no more wasted resources trying to fight what will always be a losing battle. In some kind of weird way, I bet legalizing opioids is a better answer than anything else that's been offered.

While we're at it. Legalize prostitution and gambling.....all gambling.

Gambling and prostitution yes, no problems with that. But legal heroin and crack, no that’s ridiculous.
