Move down Doug Martin - RBBC in Tampa

Most of my leagues have changed to 1 RB, 2 WR's, 1 TE, 1 Flex....I was always one of the top teams before the change, but I didn't complain one bit. It actually gives me more flexibility in the draft. I am not chained to taking 2 RB's quickly in the draft, and if you have a RB injury it doesn't screw your season as it had in the past. Teams with 2 great RB's still can dominate (last year I started Charles, Forte 1st , 2nd in my draft)....but it gives you more options.

Round 2 running backs? And beyond I suppose..

There is absolutely no way that Murray loses the starting RB spot....I do agree that his biggest concern is health, but this guy should probably be looked at like Forte was last year. I snagged Forte in the 2nd knowing that he would catch a ton of balls and if healthy would give me 1st round value. The same goes for Murray this year....also don't forget that Dallas just added the best guard of the 2014 draft class giving them 3 1st round picks on an OL that should be one of the top OL's in the NFL.

    Calvin Johnson

What are the megatron owners thoughts on starting him versus philly next week? I really think Philly is going to smother the Lions, but I guess Calvin could get some garbage time. I may roll with Ococinco instead even though its against the Ravens.

    Ronnie Brown - big year?

I think the Dolphins will run him into the ground knowing that they will not re-sign him....which is good for FF until he gets hurt.

ESPN ADP vs. FF Calculator ADP

I agree with this. My guess is that a lot of those guys drafting on ESPN are just going by the ESPN rankings and not their own cheat sheet (which is what I use). This leads them to select guys that are remaining high up on the ESPN list rather than maybe a guy who's FFC adp says he should go there.... my guess is ESPN's rankings are swaying the adp of certain players, so if you are on an ESPN league where your league mates may be using those rankings you may need to go with that.

    If Vincent Jackson sits...

Not that it matters much, but I would take that quote with a grain of salt. They are blowing smoke...the player has a lot to lose in that situation. Not playing those 6 games means that Jackson will not get credit for this season...meaning he is back where he started this year, but a year off his career (of which he will not get paid). After sitting out that entire year, there is no way the Chargers are paying him big money...and the longer he sits out the less likely other teams will take that chance either. I do see him sitting out until week 10, but I think he has to show up at that point.

    LT looks good

LT will not make me shy away from Greene, but I hope it makes my league mates. It is still a must to handcuff with LT due to injuries, and I could see people reading too much into tonight and taking LT higher than he should go.

    Green Eilis the starter?

This running game of NE will just leave you scratching your head....unless they are an extreme value somewhere I am passing

    Ahmad Bradshaw

shhHHHH.....nothing to see here! Move along! On a serious note....I think the term "reps with the 1st team" is overblown in today's era of RBBC. Sure he is going to get reps with the 1st team because he will be in there at least half the time. I bet Jacobs has got plenty of reps with the 1st team as well, but that does not get fantasy football eyes to purke up.

Just cancelled DirecTV NFL Sunday ticket....

I have uverse...so no Sunday Ticket (I have had it before) How is the NFL network redzone different? I am planning to get this for $5 bucks a month.

    Matt Lienart

I just don't share the optimism, and I was all over Rodgers when he took over for Favre. Leinart does share the facts with Rodgers that he is taking over for a big-name QB and is moving into a favorable offense, but I just don't think Leinart has the talent. I had Fitzgerald when Leinart started the season a few years back (so i watch him thoroughly), and Leinart was slow in the pocket and his passes did not have a zip on them...maybe things have changed since then, but I have no confidence in him. The guy that I think will emerge on the scene much like Rodgers is Kevin Kolb.

    Some mock draft observations

Some good stuff in here... I play in a 12 teamer with a snake draft, but I see some of the same "runs" taking place. I have the 1st pick, and after taking CJ I wait at the end of the 2nd round and watch the run on WR's just drain the board....usually by the 24th pick the best left is D.Jackson and M.Colston. The problem with picking at the end of any round is if I pass on those guys for the RB value of Grant/Charles/Benson....the WR's are gutted and then you are gambling on starting guys like J.Maclin. I like the upside in the 6th and 7th at RB (Jacobs, Barber, R.Williams) more than WR at that point. TE run does usually start around mid to late 4th....and being that I pick at the 4.12/5.1 turn I make sure I get an elite one (usually at least V.Davis and sometimes A.Gates), because they usually dont make it back to me at 6.12 QB can go either way....I can snag an elite one at the 2.12/3.1 turn....Brady is there most of the time....or I can wait and try to get Favre or Kolb....after that I am not too comfortable with starting Cutler/Ryan/Flacco types. I think my best case scenario is: 1.01 - C.Johnson 2.12- D.Jackson 3.01- T. Brady 4.12- A.Gates 5.01- C.Ochocinco 6.12- D.Bryant 7.01- R.Williams

    Kenny Britt & Chris Chambers

I have been thinking about drafting both Jacobs and Bradshaw.....or doing the same with Felix/Barber. Both sets of backs have been injury prone, so more than likely someone will get the majority of snaps.

Why go for WR/WR in 1st 2 rounds?

I think you hit the nail on the head. The key word is risk. I want as little risk as possible with my first 4 picks.....after that I am willing to gamble. Players like Charles and Mendenhall at their ADP's could turn out to be great, but you are also taking a huge risk with an early pick. Players like Moss, Wayne, and White are much more of a known factor. You usually can't win your league with those first few picks, but you sure can lose it if you pick a bust

Let's talk AP's value if Favre is gone

I have drawn the 1st pick this year and CJ and AP are neck and neck.... How much has the Vikings OL changed since Peterson ran with T.Jackson under center? This could make a difference. I still think Favre plays, but its good to have the idea thought out just in case it happens right before the draft
