I would always go crazy when her version of Jingle Bells came on. If you ever want to kill another human, lock them in a room and play that song by her. They will take their own life instantly. I might have been the only guy in the planet who wasn't overly impressed by The Hangover. But that scene in American Sniper when he's working out? Those are legitimate barbells. I was going in thinking I would be watching the clock. the acting and music were good. I was hoping she would do Evergreen which is the only song that I really like by B.S. vuduchile 1,941 Posted October 21, 2018 Just saw it tonight with the wife. Id give it a A. Most of the music is damned good. Im gonna buy the soundtrack. Cooper sounds like a true southern rocker. Ive yet to see anyone confirm that hes really playing guitar but he can definitely carry a tune. This movie has been made 4 times and this is the only one Ive seen all the way thru. Im tempted to watch the Streisand/Kristoferson version now. Just like Streisand, Gaga isnt really pretty, but shes dead sexy for some strange reason. Her acting is pretty good too. Go see it. Semi spoiler alert: IRL Gaga is at her best when its just her and a piano or decent band backing her. The over produced pop crap pays well, but shes better than that. We had the same idea and I did not enjoy it. The music, other than evergreen, was nowhere near as good. Kristoferson played a drunk and sang every song like he was toasted. Streisand sang some weird funky stuff that never has been played since 1978. My wife said if she had seen the 197x one first she would not have asked to see this one.
