Recruiting to fill two CCDL dynasty team openings

It's a Geek Club league and so am hoping for two Geek Club members to fill the spots.

Teams available are Oscilation Overthrusters and Kentucky Fried Movie.

 

The league is free to participate in. In Dynasty leagues, the rosters carry over from year to year. You'll notice it's 14 teams rather than 12. Rather standard PPR scoring rules.

 

RB+WR+TE= 6 with no more than 2 RBs, 4 WRs, or 2 TEs and a minimum of 1/2/1

 

We'll cutdown the dead weight from the rosters first then fill them up with an upcoming rookie/FA draft.

This is our 7th year. We've not had problems filling in the past.

 

This year though, I can't say that anymore. Fock, look at this thread.

 

I'd thought pay dynasty league teams would have trouble filling dead teams. Oh god Sux's team from a few years back was utterly devoid of anything. That would have been a donation for three years of rebuilding just to get a sniff at maybe getting somewhere.

 

Taking in non-Geek Club members keeps the league healthy but also dilutes our collegiality. Anyway after I find one more person, I can put this aside for another season.

Oy, now that my team has become mediocre.

 

For the first five years I had good teams and a few first round byes. Invariably, I got bounced in the semifinals each of those five times until last year when I still did sneak into the playoffs on a tiebreaker in the last week of the season and promptly lost in the first round.

 

The offseason's not been particularly kind either.

In the DNDL, we are going on our 10th year.

 

12 teams.

 

I think we have 7 owners that have been there the whole time, including pocolts.

 

$50 entry. The only reason we haven't raised the $, is because my team has sucked for 10 years

I take it back.

 

I did make the semifinals again last year. That'd be six years in a row. I'd backed into the playoffs on a big losing streak with the #6 seed on tiebreaker but then I did win the first round. So my rewards is picking 11th rather than 9th.
