Watcing the Trump Presser Now

Pretry evident that Obama did nothing about cyber security during his tenure despite numerous warnings and actual hacks. Another fail. Too busy worrying about what bathroom misfits will use.

Both.

No media would publish this horsesh!t but CNN. You know them.......the ones that helped Hillary rig the Democratic Nomination.

What did CNN report that was false?

What did CNN report that was false?

It's a little game they played, like when you throw in "if true" as cover while you drool over horseshit. Or say you didn't vote for Hillary as you defended her every day. It's just a cheap little ploy and it's no wonder you find common cause with those chumps. Birds of a feather.

Nice try. Once again, overlooking the fact that CNN was the only one. Why?

The only one? It was all over every focking news outlet in the world yesterday

Man you are a focking sh1tty hack troll. I liked it more when you at least pretended to be objective. Nobody bought it, but it was better than this full-on return to RP

Okay Alt Lefties............if the only thing CNN rolled with was that Obama and Trump received a briefing about unsubstantiated stuff, what exactly is the National Crisis? They didn't report anything other than a briefing occurred. Everything else is garbage. So congrats; two people got a briefing.

Alt lefties...another pitiful attempt.

Still no answer about what CNN did that was false? I mean...the way you have talked, it should be easy to explain right?

Rather than this half assed response?

And I'm not being objective towards CNN. Why should I be? They didn't show the American people any.

This is from what Filthy linked to:

The memos have since been published by Buzzfeed. The memos originated as opposition research, first commissioned by anti-Trump Republicans, and later by Democrats. At this point, CNN is not reporting on details of the memos, as it has not independently corroborated the specific allegations. But, in preparing this story, CNN has spoken to multiple high ranking intelligence, administration, congressional and law enforcement officials, as well as foreign officials and others in the private sector with direct knowledge of the memos

______________

The bolded part is a link.

Just watched KellyAnne Conway, and I can see why the mouth-breathers are up in arms.

She insisted over and over and OVER again that the link went directly to BuzzFeed's

salacious details.

Only problem? I does not. Here's where it links to:

http://money.cnn.com/2017/01/10/media/buzzfeed-trump-report/

Maybe Kelly and her Minions should actually click on links that they use as the basis for outrage.

She looked REALLY bad after that.

Wow, finally a valid opinion.

You're right, until some of this stuff is proven, all we have is Russia meddled in the election for Trump's benefit and Trump has been throating Putin's hog left and right even though ol' Vladimir is an enemy of the state, but we don't have something that definitely proves a connection between those two things.

False? That Russian operatives had personal and financial information that was potentially damaging.

Can someone verify this?

I read in NYTimes that Trump refused to answer repeated questions about whether he or anyone in his team had contact with Russia during his campaign.

Seems like kind of a big deal, no? If you didn't then just say "no!" :dunno:

Just saw a clip from ABC world news that had Trump answering this. I did not see this earlier while watching the press conference.

It was after the press conference. As Trump was shaking hands with people, a reporter asked him "Did you or anyone in your campaign have contact with Russia leading up to or during the campaign?"

Trump said "No. Not at all."

Pretry evident that Obama did nothing about cyber security during his tenure despite numerous warnings and actual hacks. Another fail. Too busy worrying about what bathroom misfits will use.

http://www.darkreading.com/attacks-breaches/cybersecurity-in-the-obama-era/d/d-id/1326712?image_number=2

In February 2009, President Obama directed the National Security Council (NSC) and Homeland Security Council to conduct a 60-day top-to-bottom review of the federal government's efforts to defend the nations information and communications infrastructure and to recommend the best way to ensure that these systems are able to secure the nations networks as well as its prosperity.

Four months later, The White House released The Cyberspace Policy Review: Assuring a Trusted and Resilient Information and Communications Infrastructure. In a speech on May 29, Obama announced plans to develop a new, comprehensive national cybersecurity strategy, with help from private experts, and invest in "cutting edge" cybersecurity research and development.

Obama also announced plans to appoint a government-wide cybersecurity coordinator, who would report directly to the president, and elevated cybersecurity concerns to a top management priority for the U.S. government, recommendations made by the bi-partisan CSIS Commission. Obama announced that he would appoint a national cybersecurity coordinator, who would report directly to the president.

The review also called for the launch of a large cybersecurity education campaign, efforts to better work with private businesses on cyber incident response and to establish performance metrics for cybersecurity improvement.

Illustrating the emerging threats to national security and the nations economy, Obama noted that every day waves of cyber thieves were trolling for sensitive information the disgruntled employee on the inside, the lone hacker a thousand miles away, organized crime, the industrial spy and, increasingly, foreign intelligence services. He noted that in 2008 alone cyber criminals stole intellectual property from businesses worldwide worth up to $1 trillion.

In short, America's economic prosperity in the 21st century will depend on cybersecurity, Obama said.

Leading technology executives and officials at various industry associations generally praised the Cyber Policy Review and plans to hire a cybersecurity coordinator as positive steps but wanted to see more details of the proposed plans fleshed out.

You can read the whole article for more instances of Obama working on cyber security. What he did wasn't enough or wasnt affective or both imo since it's still a very serious problem, but to say he did nothing, I mean it took a few minutes of searching and reading to find this info. This is part of why we are so divided along party lines, gross exaggeration solely to make the other side look bad, when it makes the person creating this statement look just as bad if not worse.

Well isn't that pretty damning? Just answer the focking question if there's absolutely nothing to this and you've got nothing to hide

Same can be said about Obama and his relationship with Iran. And he's still the Prez.

Did I miss something? Are there allegations that Iran interfered in the presidential election for Obama's benefit?

And what does Obama have to do with anything anyway? Dude's given his farewell speech for god's sake. He gone

I do love the argument that CNN's has a responsibility to not only ignore facts that actually happened, but they also have a responsibility to ensure nobody else in the world looks into questionable (but 100% true) information in other places.

Wow. After the whole day of fake outrage, Trump calling CNN fake,

KellyAnne spending half an hour doing the same thing - and calling

for reporters to be fired;

DNI Clapper comes out and totally rebuffs Trump. Says that Trump was

indeed briefed on the document. AND that the document containing the charges

is NOT an official classified document. AND that is has been widely distributed

for months prior to this. Mostly, he says that he spoke with Trump about all of

the above and that they both agree with the above.

After the outrage and denials, Trump's team really has no choice but to

now go after and accuse Clapper of being part of the great conspiracy of

spreading lies and revealing secrets (that aren't secret). WaPo came out and went even further.

Trump and Co were already in a deep hole with the Intel community.

This sure as hell isn't going to help it.

Note: And by 'the document', I mean the filthy chit that Trump is accused of that CNN deliberately did NOT report upon until they could get corroboration that Trump said he'd never been briefed on.
