Bumping this back up -- Fred is getting inducted into the Jaguars Ring of Honor this Sunday. My favorite player of all-time. Never got the respect he deserved from a fantasy football perspective. Was a BEAST -- just never got all the TDs because Coughlin and JDR always had a vulture in there. What kind of keeper value does Fred Jackson have? He will be 31 years old next season. But he is a young 31 --- he is 4 years older than MJD, but has almost half the carries. At his current pace, Fred should be a 1st or 2nd round pick next year ... do you think he'd live up to that?

I was at the game. He didn't get dinged up or anything. Opening drive of the game we had deji in there on the first play and not mojo. Everyone in the stadium was just baffled why MJD was not playing much today. Then heard on the radio on my way home that MJD did something to get in del rio's doghouse. I think he made some comments about the oline or something. They weren't completely sure. It's not MJD's fault. He is productive when he's on the field. It's jack del rio. Hope he gets fired after the bye.

I hate being in this group that has to pick up a new D/ST ever week. I've gotten burned everytime. Week 1 -- Browns Week 2 -- Cowboys Week 3 -- Chargers Haven't gotten 10 pts in a single week yet. But I guess Buffalo looks good this week.

I'm down 2 points - non ppr league. I have Santana Moss, he has Witten. So just praying for Moss to outscore Witten by 3 points.

In a CBS League ... I currently have the waivers box checked for "Thursday" --- so they will process around 2AM Friday morning. I also have the "Free Agent players always on waivers" box checked. We have some players in our league right now listed as free agents (Scott Chandler), so they will be included in the waiver run. However, we have some players not listed as free agents (Gronko because he was on a team last week). If a player in our pool is listed as Status: On waivers until Friday morning (9/16), and an owner has put in a claim for him, does that mean he will be included in the waiver run on Friday at 2AM? Or will he not be included in the run at 2AM and will be instead listed as a Free Agent on Friday morning? CBS Waiver setup is confusing as hell.

I'm going to hold onto him until at least Week 6 when Kolb goes on bye. If there's no news about his comeback then I'll drop him. I'm hoping by then we'll get an update on whether or not he'll be back in Nov.

I have the #1 waiver pick in my league... it will process tomorrow. I am going to drop Amendola and pick someone up. Not sure who to grab first ... TE - Rob Gronkowski QB - Cam Newton WR - Brandon Gibson I currently have Peyton Manning / Kolb so could use a QB for when Kolb is on bye week 6. My current TE is Cook and he didn't do crap vs. the Jags.

I was at the game -- Lewis got hurt. Either he tweaked his ankle or had a very bad cramp. He limped off the field and didn't come back in.

Not sure if it's worth anything --- but on the Jaguars evening radio show yesterday Brian Sexton (the play by play guy for the Jags) said the same thing that he's heard Peyton is out for the year.

As you know Fred Taylor retired last Friday - as a Gator and Jaguar fan, Freddy T has always been my favorite player. He caused headaches for a lot of fantasy owners earlier on because of injuries, but that shouldn't take away from the fact that he was a BEAST on the field. When he came into the league, there had never been a player with combo of power and speed. A lot of you younger guys probably don't remember just how good he was.
