  1. Thought it was funny that Sexy Rexy showed up in a Cutler thread the day he puts up a Grossmanesque fantasy stat line. I agree. Not sure how he was available.

    Mike Williams

    A. You obviously didn't own him last year. He was basically Michael Clayton the sequel. FWIW I had both of them for their awesome rookie years. B. He's the 2nd if not 3rd receiving option (behind Doug Martin) in a run based offense. With as many quality receivers as there are out there this year, Mike Williams shouldn't be rostered except in the deepest of leagues IMO. He will catch some TDs from time to time, but good luck guessing when. There should be better options on the waiver wire.

    Youpers?

    Okay, let it begin...

Was this a wish list? Not sure why you're so interested in Rodgers groin though. Actually #4 wouldn't shock me at all. I'm not sure about Rice, but replacing him with Jenkins? Ouch. Guess the Vikes figured with their fading O-line they needed more blockers.

    Bills #2 WR?

    This.

    Lance Moore Hype...

Actually 2009 was Meachem's 3rd year in the league so this is his 5th. Although he didn't see the field at all in year 1. I'm with you though, if the guy can stay healthy for once he really has an opportunity to take off this year. Lets hope the shot in the back last night was minor. The price should be right on him though. Low risk, high reward.

    Michael Crabtree

You know, there's all this discussion about the 49ers now being a running team, but don't you have to win to make that work? Do we think they're not going to throw the ball when they're behind in the 2nd half of most of their games? Personally although I like Singletary as their coach, I don't see them being much better than 7-9 this year. Shaun Hill was actually worthy of being a starting fantasy QB down the stretch last year. I say 800 and 8 TDs is reasonable, but who knows how high the limit is given his ability. After all, I still remember Michael Clayton's rookie year and shake my head at how that happened.

    Too Much Depth A Problem?

This week, you'll probably get offered a D that somebody just picked up off the waiver wire for Reuben. When you can't show squat against New Orleans, your fantasy value can't get much lower. Who woulda thunk it? I thought he might be good for 100 and a TD against the Saints. But now, I think you're stuck with Reuben as a backup. Yeah, thats weak. In one league I got stuck with the 12th pick in a 12 teamer, so I stock-piled RBs as well. This week, I get offered Joey Galloway for Chester Taylor. WTF??? Personally, I think Chester is your best commodity unless someone has for Tatum. Maybe you can package Driver and Taylor for another #1 WR?

    P.Manning or Warner?

I think you've been sniffing glue!

Could Michael Turner be this years LJ?

Exactly! I took him in round 11 as my handcuff for fear of this exact thing. Just can't take the risk of watching somebody else ride him through the playoffs because I didn't handcuff a round or 2 earlier. LT gets teams to the FF playoffs, but hasn't done much in them the past couple years. That division is going to be a frickin dogfight this year! Should be fun to watch the fireworks.

    Rank these 8 possible #2WR's

What he said. The rest of the guys on your list as #2? Ouch!

Could Michael Turner be this years LJ?

Turner no question! I have LJ in a keeper league and decided to take LT #1 in my other league last night to hedge my bets. I would have taken LJ if not for Turner as LT's backup. I have no question I'm going to get huge production all year from LT or Turner. If something happened to LJ, I'm not confident at all. Having said that, LJ did look damn good behind that banged up, "washed up" O-line.
  13. I understand, but it's 11:30 and the boards have quieted down a bit. Just wanted some opinions since there's a little more traffic over here. That way I can get a good nights sleep.
  14. Standard scoring non-ppr Starts 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR/TE, K, DT I'm not going to bother you with the breakdown of the whole draft, but basically we have a bid process on the top 3 picks and as a result had to give up my 4th round pick to get the top slot. At the end of the draft somebody said per their calcs I had the worst team. I don't necessarily think my team was the best, but I'm very happy with it. Seriously, does this look that bad? Here's what I got: QB: Bledsoe, Volek RB: LT, Mike Bell, Addai, Benson, Vernand Morency and Michael Turner WR: Fitz, Randy Moss, Matt Jones, Antonio Bryant, Drew Bennett, Braylon Edwards K: Matt Stover D: Miami I know I need better depth at QB, but I plan on picking up a FA if Volek totally struggles. I figure they'll be behind all season so he's got a shot to light it up. At RB I figure any average RB and LT will beat most teams. If Addai and Benson both get shafted, then my depth is hurting, but I wanted 2 stud WR in a big way to go with LT. At WR I couldn't pass up Randy. This is the first year I'll have him on my team. Mainly because he's always been gone earlier in past years. I love Matt Jones as my 3rd WR. Thoughts?

    Jets fans

I'm not so sure by the start of the regular season Barlow will be the guy. Blaylock appears to be fully recovered from his injury and actually has looked pretty good, for a Jet RB. Honestly though, I have serious doubts that any Jets RB will have much fantasy value this year. Maybe a 1-week bye fill-in. Otherwise, I'd probably take my starters handcuff before depending on a starting Jet RB.
