Wasn't it supposed to be a 90 day ban anyway while they figured out vetting?

Shouldn't they have the vetting figured out by now?

So, a guy can still fly to Libya, come back and set off a bomb off at a concert full of little girls. Good job.

Pssst. This was only for the United States. Donald Trump can't propose a Muslim ban for every country in the world. :doh:

So Trump's wife brushed his hand away twice, the Pope looks like he wants to puke for being around him, and his Muslim ban gets laughed at once again. Another banner week for Cheetoh von Tweeto

I don't care for it. Sickens me that a society goes out if it's way for these animals. Why? They suck as humans. Violent, subjugate women, kill queers. American men offering up their daughters for slaughter because they're too pussified to fight, and afraid to be called a racist. Going to leave it up to their kids to inherit this crap.

This is not going to matter. in 2 years we are going to see a surge of bombings here and a travel ban on those from muslim countries will not work as all these terrorists are getting asylum in the EU. Once their status is changed to citizen they are going to be able to freely travel to the US using their EU passport.

Of course there will be 30 bombings and the liberal left will point to how many bad things Christians did during the inquisition. Because that is certain justification for Muslims doing bad things now.

Explains your bitterness. You support a guy who's been losing every step of the way. Too bad, so sad. :wave:

Why would there be a surge in bombings with Trump in office? There wasn't the previous eight years.

This is actually a good point. It would already be finished, so why are Trump's people even fighting it anymore?

Because they haven't done a damn thing about changing any vetting.

Who knew presidenting would be so complicated.

It's probably for the better right now, cause Trump was coming back from a predominantly Muslim country...he might not have been allowed back in the country had the ban been in effect.

Probably would have some kind of vetting process in place had you all just let the man do his job.

I think the TB is a bad idea for logical, tactical, strategic and logistical reasons.

However, if you're a first time visitor, I don't think I agree that somehow that our constitutional privileges and protections apply to you.

TrumpCo screwed the pooch so badly on this one, that dog will never walk right again.

You forgot the biggest diick move of all;

Even Spicer's sparring partners in the press feel badly for him on this one.

Pretty much everybody in Trump's travelling crew was allowed to go to the Vatican and meet the Pope.

Spicer was jazzed - as he is a strong practicing Catholic. He even goes to the same services as some of the media.

Trump, being the petty, disloyal, mean-spirited little priick that he is - invited everyone - including the hardcore Jews in his crew.

But not Sean Spicer.

What a focking trifling priick.

And then he wonders why the Oval has more leaks than a fishnet tampon.

I'm not sure why this isn't getting through anybody's thick heads;

Two different administrations' worth of Intel and Terrorism experts have been saying the same thing for years;

The biggest terror threat we face is the self-radicalized home-grown terrorist. Some of you nitwits (and Trump)

are still living in 2001. Today's terrorist is far more likely to become radicalized in his bedroom than in some shiithole

training camp in Warzistan. That same guy will learn about explosives and shooting via YouTube and other sites. Hell, ISIS has FPS games every bit as good as GTA now.

Our intel community 'gets' that. Not sure why Trump thinks he knows better. In the end, the ban - even the attempt at one - is a net loser - proving more motivation than stopping guys born in the US from attacking in the US without ever having gone any further than Terre Haute.

So a guy coming off the battlefield in Iraq and Syria fighting for ISIS is the same as a kid on his computer watching Isis videos?

Never said that. Frankly, the kid has a better chance of inflicting damage here in the US. The other thing Trump and is nitwit followers just absolutely refuse to acknowledge is that every single Refugee has to get cleared not only by the UN but then by 7 different intelligence agencies of the United States. And even then just getting through the UN they have no idea whether they'll end up in the United States or in Kosovo.

Trump Co started off with this false narrative that anyone and everyone can just hop skip and jump into the United States and not a single one of you nitwits have bothered to go out and educate yourself as to the process of actually being granted Refugee status and then the vetting process already in place.

Really, stop listening to so much opinion and start reading some actual facts to form your own opinions.

My common sense answer.....

Once the shooting starts, the guy coming off the battlefield is obviously far more dangerous....But we have way more safeguards in place for catching that guy before the shooting starts. Safeguards over there, Safeguards here, a pilgrimage he has to take undetected, airports and gates and checks he has to get through, multiple intelligence agencies from multiple countries working on keeping him out, etc.

The kid on his computer is almost infinitely more difficult to catch. He doesn't have to pass through any airports or security checks. He doesn't have to take any trip undetected to get training first. Basically we have to hope he clicks on the wrong link, otherwise the "intelligence agency" with the best chance of catching him is a parent or girlfriend that loves him and is probably drunk half the time.

Then it's just math in terms of who poses the bigger risk. Maybe a trained killer can take out 25, whereas a goofy school kid can take out 5. But if 6 schoolkids go undetected for every 1 highly trained killer, they become the bigger threat.

Process? Did Europe have a process? How do you process someone from a country that is in chaos? Call his last employer? You're the one who doesn't get it. Willfully naive, and for who? Sub humans from 3rd world garbage pails? Nah. Im educated plenty on the subject.

Suspected ISIS member accused of killing Iraqi police officer is captured in Sacramento, officials say

Ameen allegedly arrived in Rawah, Iraq “with a caravan of ISIS vehicles” -- after the organization gained control of the town on June 21, 2014 -- and made their way to the Rawah police officer's home, officials said. The following day, multiple group members, including Ameen, allegedly shot the officer.

Ameen then allegedly fired his weapon at the victim while the victim was on the ground, killing him,” officials said.

The suspect is accused of being a member of ISIS and al-Qaeda in Iraq (AQI), as well as carrying out tasks for the groups, “including helping to plant improvised explosive devices,” according to the news release.

Following the alleged incident, Ameen relocated to Sacramento from Iraq “as a purported refugee” and did not mention his alleged ties to the terrorist organizations when seeking refugee status and a green card in the U.S., officials said.
